Battle records of Yuyudhana Satyaki vs Suta Karna according to BORI Mahabharata

Satyaki vs Karna according to Bori Mahabharata.
Since many people have doubts about Satyaki's capability's and use Bori Mahabharata as an excuse making statements like it removed all of Satyaki's achievements etc, i am going to make this post with proof and screenshots from the text of Bori Mahabharata. This will prove the skills of Satyaki and the fact that Bori did not make itself an anti Satyaki Mahabharata. I will only provide proof from Bori.
  • Satyaki vs Karna (according to Bori)
    • 1st instance (11th day)

Analysis
Drona clearly told everyone on his side including Karna to stop fleeing the battlefield. The only person in the Kourava army that was still their was Drona. Over here Karna is mentioned along with Satyaki. So he had to have fought with him. It is written in the text that the warriors fought to kill each other. Even while seeking to kill his opponent still Karna fled and Satyaki won.

Analysis
Karna was not outnumbered as many Karna fans claim. Karna actually had a huge team supporting him. 15 warriors protecting his flank and 3 of his brothers supporting him along with the Nishadas. So in actuality in terms of numbers it was Karna's team who had the numerical advantage.
Karna failed to pierce or wound any of his opponents. He only cut off their weapons. Yet all of his opponents (including Satyaki who we are talking about) injured him here. Three arrows of Satyaki assailed Karna's body.
      • 2nd fight
Screenshot
Analysis:
The argument that Karna was outnumbered is foolish here. Karna had the support of twenty other warriors (they were all killed) but still Karna couldn't handle even 4 warriors (Satyaki, Bhima, Dhrishtadyumna, Arjuna)? Satyaki not only cut off Karna's bow but he also pierced Karna's body and bathed him in blood here. Karna also had to be rescued by who? By Drona, Jayadratha & Duryodhana. Satyaki being protected by other Pandava warriors was stated later on in the text after Karna was defeated.

Analysis
Satyaki and Karna were fighting a one on one battle, over here i did not find that Satyaki had any unfair advantage, Satyaki did not use any dirty tricks. Another argument would be that Karna was badly wounded and exhausted after his battles against Bheema & Arjuna so that is why he failed against Satyaki. Kritavarman, Drona, Vikarna, Duryodhana, Sudarsana, Duhsasana, Jalasandha, Bhurishravas etc all of these people were fought by Satyaki before he fought Karna that day. So Satyaki would be without a doubt out of stamina way more than Karna. Satyaki was more exhausted and Karna wasn't! Karna made no promise to Satyaki's mother that he would spare him yet Karna was defeated, why? Karna could not save his new charioteer and new horses from Satyaki's lethal arrows. What a pathetic warrior, what a pathetic archer.
      • 2nd fight
Screenshot
Analysis
Karna made many strong efforts for killing Satyaki but he had failed miserably. Karna and his gang surrounded Satyaki encircling him from all sides yet the mighty-armed Satyaki destroys Karna's circle of warriors defeats him and spares his life. Karna is now indebted to Satyaki. It was never stated anywhere that Satyaki's chariot gave him a advantage.

Analysis
It was stated over here that Karna fled. Dhritarashtra himself said they were agitated by Pandava warriors. He also said that warriors on his side were blinded and shattered by darkness. Even though Karna is supposedly the son of Surya (the god of the sun/light) he was agitated by darkness. He was among the Kourava army at that time. He is mentioned along with Satyaki in the same line. Indirectly Dhritarashtra said Karna was being defeated.
      • 2nd encounter
Screenshot
Analysis
Satyaki cuts Karna's arrows and wounds him, the narrator tries to say the battle is equal but the fact that Karna's son had to save him proves that it was not. Satyaki clearly defeated Karna here. Also the fact that Satyaki asked Karna to wait and not run away is proof that prior to this incident Karna ran away from Satyaki in a fight before this. Vrishasena (the armored son of Karna) had to rescue Karna by interfering in the battle. This proves that Satyaki had the upperhand, if not a victory then Satyaki deserves credit for this performance.
      • 3rd encounter
Screenshot
Analysis
Over here it was both father and son (Karna and Vrishasena) fighting Satyaki together. Proving that alone they would never have been able to stand a chance against Satyaki. Satyaki was able to cut off the bows and arm-guards of his opponents. But did Karna & Vrishasena ever achieve such a feat in this fight? No. Also after this incident Karna suggests a group attack on Satyaki (indirectly admitting that Satyaki is victorious and Karna has been defeated). Another victory for Satyaki.
      • 4th encounter
Screenshot
Analysis
Over here Krishna was stating facts. He said that Satyaki was being shattered by the arrows of Karna. And that Arjuna should go over their in that direction to kill Karna. But this is very contradictory as Karna still possesses the Vasavi dart with him, and Ghatotkaca is still alive. So why would Krishna say these things? Maybe this incident is an interpolation to glorify Karna.

Screenshot 2
Analysis
The battle was not over just yet, the rest of it was skipped and not narrated. All Karna did was make Satyaki tremble. How is that a victory? The fight continued and it was stated that all their bows could be seen drawn to circles. This suggests the fight was still taking place and going on. And Satyaki was not a king. So clearly Karna did not drive him away

    Analysis
This incident seems like blood cancer for Karna fans. They made claims like this incident was removed by BORI but fortunately the truth is here! Satyaki checks Drona, Kripa & the useless suta Karna. Arjuna and Krishna also stated that Satyaki was toying with his opponents and had the upper hand. Now over here he had no special chariot and Karna has no special handicap.
      • 6th instance (16th day)

    Analysis
Now the argument that several warriors group attacked Karna is stupid. group attacks were common and prior to this fight Satyaki was having a lone match against Karna yet Karna had to be rescued by a team of atirathis.

    Analysis
This is more proof that Satyaki is winning. It was a group attack on Karna yes. But Karna had the Vijaya bow over here, Salya as a driver, and celestial chariot. The asura Naraka was also possessing him. So Karna should have been able to fight the very best he could possibly fight. But no! Still Karna was defeated and got rescued by his sons. Karna was useless. The second screenshot clearly says Wishing to save their father, the strikers who were Karna's sons, so don't speak to me about Karna being a better warrior than Satyaki.
        • 2nd fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here in this fight their was no real result. It was still continuing and going on. Karna was protected by all the soldiers in Dhritarashtra's army while Satyaki had the support of the Pandavas & Shikhandi.
        • 3rd fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here Karna actually won his fight. He defeated Satyaki, he had the upperhand on him. But this defeat can be dismissed as a battle on unequal footings. As Karna had the support of an asura named Naraka (who possessed him on the last day of his life). The support of a driver superior to Krishna (Salya) and the protection of his sons, he had better technology than Satyaki, (the vijaya bow) that is why he won. It was an unfair war lol. Coward Karna never wins on his own merit.
        • 4th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
The result of this fight? A stalemate. No one side was proving better than the other. So Karna and Satyaki were equals over here. This encounter was a draw.
        • 5th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here this incident can also be seen as Karna running away from Satyaki. The text says he defeated Satyaki yet Satyaki continued to pursue Karna from behind? Is it not odd? If that was the case then why did Karna not continue to fight with Satyaki to finally kill him or defeat him once and for all. Why did he allow Satyaki to keep following him, and why did he avoid a fight with Satyaki? Why would Karna try to fight Pancalas (warriors weaker than Satyaki)? Because Karna realized he can never defeat Satyaki probably.
        • 6th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here Satyaki and Karna had another stalemate their fight ended with no result. Although this was the mercy of Karna's technology and the possession of Naraka.
        • 7th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here all that is stated is that Karna countered all of them, he matched his opponents move for move. This is not a defeat or victory for anyone.
        • 8th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Krishna compared Karna to Indra over here and claimed that Karna was defeating all the great warriors of the Pandava army. So i will count this as a defeat of Satyaki. But just no that it was because of unequal footings.
        • 9th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here again it is said that people who are wishing to serve Satyaki are losing to Karna. But this is not said to be a group attack. So this cannot be declared a defeat either because the servants of Satyaki are mentioned not Satyaki himself. This was not even a fight between them.
        • 10th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here Karna had the upper hand, he managed to cut off the bow of Satyaki. Not only did he cut off Satyaki's bow, he also performed these feats while fighting Bima at the same time! This is another defeat of Satyaki (only on the 17th day).
        • 11th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here their was another draw. No result was shown. Karna killed Satyaki's horses. Karna wanted to kill Satyaki but he (Karna) still failed to kill Satyaki. He couldn't do anything. He attacks helpless animals (horses) whoa re defenseless instead of fighting a brave man like Satyaki. The son of Karna Sushena was slain by Satyaki's well-shot arrows. Karna was senseless with rage but yet his weapons were countered by a eunuch like Srikandi!
        • 12th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here Karna has the help of Kripa, Bhoja, and sons of Dhritarashtra. Yet despite all of these noticeable facts he was beaten by Satyaki over here. Satyaki became invincible and defeating Satyaki became a dream for Karna. I've heard rumors that Krishna gave Satyaki a boon of invincibility. But their is no proof for this claim.

    Conclusions:
How many times did Satyaki defeat Karna? (All of these incidents are included in BORI CE and have been proved with the help of screenshots).
    1. 11th day
      1. Satyaki fights Karna for the first time ever and Drona tells him to stop fleeing. Meaning Karna ran away during this first fight.
    2. 12th day
      1. Satyaki defeats Karna and wounds his body with over sixty arrows, so Karna needs a rescue team to save him.
    3. 14th day
      1. Satyaki cuts off Karna's bow, destroys his chariot, kills his horses, slayed his driver, and overall exposes Karna, disrobing Karna in battle again.
    4. 14th day
      1. Karna and seven others can't even take a single car warrior. And they lose to Satyaki. He not only defeats them he also spares Karna's life over here to honor the words of Arjuna.
    5. 14th night
      1. Satyaki fights with Karna and Karna runs away, Dhritarashtra himself admits this).
    6. 14th night
      1. Satyaki fights with karna and defeats him, he is about to humiliate Karna but the latter's son intervenes.
    7. 14th night
      1. Satyaki defeats both Karna and Vrishasena. Karna becomes scared and begs Duryodhana for help.
    8. 15th day
      1. Satyaki (while mild) is able to hold off and check sometimes prevail over three maharathis simultaneously including Karna. After this incident Karna s not mentioned in the text till the death of Drona.
    9. 16th day
      1. Satyaki wounds Karna and has the upper hand on him so Kuru warriors interfere in the fight to save Karna.
    10. 17th day
      1. Group attack on Karna led by Satyaki, Karna is losing so his sons save him.
    11. 17th day
      1. Karna runs away to fight foot soldiers after Satyaki pursues him.
    12. 17th day
      1. Karna's son is killed by Satyaki right infront of his eyes. And Karna fails to kill Satyaki back.
    13. 17th day
      1. Satyaki is ambushed by Karna, Kritavarman, Kripa & Kouravas. Yet Satyaki destroys this circle of warriors and they fail to defeat him.
How many times did Karna defeat Satyaki?
    1. 12th day
      1. Karna cut off the bow and dart of Satyaki but never wounded Satyaki. The main reason this is declared as a defeat is because Arjuna had to distract Karna to leave Satyaki by killing Karna's foster brothers.
    2. 14th night
      1. One interpolated victory of Karna where Krishna states that Satyaki has been defeated by Karna and is in danger of losing his life.
    3. 16th day
      1. Satyaki's name was not mentioned but it is implied that he was defeated by Karna after because so many warriors attacked Karna and Satyaki had to be a part of this group at the end of that day. Even Duryodhana mentioned one defeat of Satyaki where Karna vanquished him. So it has to have some truth behind it.
    4. 17th day
      1. Karna defeats Satyaki and his group of warriors. But his victory was only due to the fact that he had superior technology and was possessed by an Asura called Naraka.
    5. 17th day
      1. The same incident that is seen as Karna running away from Satyaki can often be seen as Karna defeating Satyaki and going to fight Panchala warriors to defend his army.
        1. He is the chief of the Kuru forces now so he has too many responsibilities on his hand.
      2. Their are two sides to this incident, that's why i can not declare it as a no result or draw/stalemate.
    6. 17th day
      1. Krishna said that Karna was destroying Satyaki over here but this could be an interpolation as it is from the same paragraph in which Krishna says Karna used the Pasupata weapon.
    7. 17th day
      1. Karna cut off the bow of Satyaki and defeated him very badly over here. It was an amazing feat as he did this while having to fight with the mighty Bheema at the same time. Karna was fighting like a cornered cat though.
    Disproving excuses for Karna's defeats
    1. Satyaki did a group attack on Karna
      1. No he didn't
      2. Have you people even read the amount of times that Karna did a group attack on Satyaki? Here is the list.
        1. 12th day
        2. 14th day
        3. 14th night
        4. 14th night
        5. 15th day (with Drona and Kripa at his side)
        6. 17th day
    2. Krishna was in his mind dampening Karna's true capability
      1. That's not what was stated. So stop misinterpreting texts.
      2. The only thing Krishna did is he stopped Karna from throwing the Vasavi dart not anything else.
      3. Krishna only did this during the duels Karna had with Arjuna, not Satyaki and not Bhima.
      4. If this is the case then this only affects Karna till the 14th night. But after the 14th night their are several incidents where Satyaki still disrobes Karna on the battlefield.
        1. I am going to list them now.
          1. 15th day
          2. 16th day
          3. 17th day
          4. 17th day
    3. Satyaki had a special chariot
      1. First of all it was never stated that Satyaki's chariot gave him any special advantage.
      2. Their have been several times in the Kurukshetra war where he did not have that chariot yet he still made Karna bite the dust. Let me list them out now.
        1. 11th day
        2. 12th day
        3. 14th night
        4. 14th night
        5. 14th night
        6. 15th day
        7. 16th day
        8. 17th day
        9. 17th day
        10. 17th day
      3. People will make the bullshit claim and excuse that Satyaki had a divine chariot to help him, and when you have better technology (than your opponent) then you will win. But that's false, because Satyaki having that divine chariot is not as much of an advantage as Karna having the support of 7 Maharathis (Duhsasana, Duryodhana, Suyodhana, Aswathaman, Kritavarman, Shalya, Vrishasena etc). No matter what the case it was Satyaki versus eight people and yet he was still able to not only pull off such a good performance but also defeat Karna. He spared Karna's life over here.
        1. So it was a unfair battle for Satyaki not Karna. Karna is a cheat.
    4. Karna was not using his Vijaya bow
      1. Yes he actually was using his Vijaya bow (on the 17th day) and yet still he got his arse kicked by Satyaki.
      2. Before the Vijaya bow Karna used a blazing bow during the 11th and 12th days. Satyaki cut it off (thus disarming Karna)
      3. So what? Satyaki had no special bow like the Saranga/Gandiva/Vijaya to help him out. So why does Karna need one?
    Some notable facts
    1. Satyaki spared Karna's life but Karna never spared Satyaki's life
    2. Satyaki is a true full blooded Yadava while Karna is only a half-yadava
    3. Karna's fans always make excuses for his defeats but no one makes and excuse for Satyaki
    4. Satyaki did less group attacks then Karna did. The majority of the group attacks were done by karna.
    5. Satyaki killed a family member of Karna (his son Prasena) but Karna never killed even one family member of Satyaki
    6. Even when karna had the Vijaya bow (17th day) still Satyaki defeated him many times.
    7. Karna's very few amount of victories over Satyaki are questionable (later additions) and due to trivial technicalities at times.
    8. Satyaki defeated Karna more than twice the number of times that Karna defeated Satyaki. So that means for every instance their is a defeat of Sayaki at the hands of Karna, their are at-least two incidents for Karna facing a defeat at the hands of Satyaki.
    9. Satyaki has a good reason to not kill karna, because he wanted to protect the words of Arjuna. But Karna had no excuse for his failure to kill Satyaki.
      1. Karna made no promise to Satyaki's mother, and Satyaki was not a relative of Karna in any way.
By the way the warriors often had multiple encounters during the same day that's why when i list out the defeats i state the same day/night as a defeat. Either way Satyaki > Karna. He was the BAAP of Karna.
So overall the results of the Satyaki vs Karna confrontations remain in Satyaki's favor not Karna's. Satyaki defeated karna more times. Karna defeated Satyaki 7 times, but Satyaki defeated Karna 13 times! Even Krishna has called Satyaki more than a match for Karna and superior during the 14th day. These are all 13 instances where Satyaki fought Karna and performed better than him. And that is proof of his superiority.

      Feats of Lord Balarama.

This post is dedicated to doing a well researched respect thread on the combat skills of Rama the elder brother of Krishna, and the son of Rohini.
      Edit:
As of 12:39 AM May 9th, 2022 my opinion of Balram has completely changed.
Here is my new post on him - https://logicastra.blogspot.com/2022/05/useless-warrior-balarama.html in my opinion he was just a joker.
      End of edit.
{Note}: I myself do not agree with everything that is stated in this post, but i am writing it all only to bring highlight to feats of Balarama. And how he is portrayed as a strong warrior in the texts.
Meaning of his name (he was mostly called "Rama"):
"Rama means someone who is highly resplendent, an ablest archer among all archers, one who is endowed with divine missiles and divine attributes, and he is the one who conducts warfare with a supreme conduct." [3-31-15]
http://www.valmikiramayan.net/utf8/aranya/sarga31/aranya_31_frame.htm This indicates that Balaram would be a great archer, knows astras, divine astras etc.
      • Killed Hansa. Quote from Sabha Parva.
        • He hath two friends that are like unto the immortals, and in point of strength the foremost of all men endued with might. They are called Hansa and Dimvaka who are both incapable of being slain by weapons. The mighty Jarasandha, being united with them, becomes incapable, I think, of being vanquished by even the three worlds. O thou foremost of all intelligent men, this is not our opinion alone but all other kings also are of the same mind. There lived, O monarch, a king of the name of Hansa, who was slain by Rama (Valadeva) after a battle of eighteen days. But, O Bharata, hearing people say that Hansa had been killed, Dimvaka, O king, thought that he could not live without Hansa. [http://sacred-texts.com/hin/m02/m02014.htm]
          • This also proves Balarama's stamina, he fought continuously for eighteen days straight.
      • Killed Jara, quote from Drona Parva is below.
        • Each of them, O Partha, could fight in battle with the whole celestial host protected by the Regents of the world. (On one occasion), assailed by Valadeva, Jarasandha, excited with wrath, hurled for our destruction a mace capable of slaying all creatures. Endued with the splendour of fire, that mace coursed towards us dividing the welkin like the line on the head that parts the tresses of a woman, and with the impetuosity of the thunder hurled by Sakra. Beholding that mace thus coursing towards us the son of Rohini hurled the weapon called Sthunakarna for baffling it. Its force destroyed by the energy of Valadeva's weapon, that mace fell down on the earth, splitting her (with its might) and making the very mountains tremble. There was a terrible Rakshasa of the name Jara, endued with great prowess. She, O prince, had united that slayer of foes, and, therefore, was the latter called Jarasandha. Jarasandha had been made up of two halves of one child. And because it was Jara that had united those two halves, it was for this that he came to be called Jarasandha. 1 That Rakshasa woman, O Partha, who was there within the earth, was slain with her son and kinsmen by means-of that mace and the weapon of Sthunakarna. [http://sacred-texts.com/hin/m07/m07178.htm]
          • This also proves that Balarama was a master of the Sthunakarna weapon.
      • According to Vishnu Purana. He (Balarama) defeated Bhishma, Drona, Karna, Bhima, Duryodhana, Arjuna, Yudhishthira etc.
      Quote 1:
Ugrasena shall be the undisputed king of kings; for I will not return to his capital until I have rid the world wholly of the sons of Kuru. I will destroy Karńa, Duryodhana, Drońa, Bhíshma, Báhlíka, Duhsáśana, Bhúrisravas, Somadatta, Åšalya, Bhíma, Arjuna, Yudhisht́hira, the twins, and all the other vile descendants of Kuru, with their horses, elephants, and chariots. I will rescue the hero Śámba from captivity, and carry him, along with his wife, to Dwáraká, where I shall again behold Ugrasena p. 603 and the rest of my kin. Or, authorized by the king of the gods to remove the burdens of the earth, I will take this capital of the Kauravas, with all the sons of Kuru, and cast the city of the elephant into the Bhágírathí."
      Quote 2:
So saying, the wielder of the club, Baladeva, his eyes red with rage, plunged the blade of his ploughshare downwards, beneath the ramparts of the city, and drew them towards him. When the Kauravas beheld Hastinápura tottering, they were much alarmed, and called loudly on Ráma, saying, "Ráma, Ráma! hold, hold! suppress your wrath! have mercy upon us! Here is Śámba, and his wife also, delivered up to thee. Forgive our sins, committed in ignorance of thy wondrous power." Accordingly, issuing hurriedly from the city, the Kauravas delivered Śámba and his bride to the mighty Balaráma, who, bowing to Bhíshma, Drońa, and Kripa, who addressed him in conciliatory language, said, "I am satisfied;" and so desisted. The city bears the marks of the shock it received, even to the present day--such was the might of Ráma--proving both his strength and prowess.
Analysis: The text says that the Kouravas wanted pleaded with Balarama and begged for forgiveness because they saw their city (Hastinapore) getting submerged. But they could have stopped Balarama from submerging their city through the use of force.
The presence of Arjuna, Bhurisravas, Bhima & Yudhishthira (etc) seems to be an interpolation over here. And they are only mentioned once (when Balarama makes a vow) and Arjuna himself was the husband of Balarama's sister (Subhadra) so why would he have decided to kill his own brother-in-law? Arjuna did not even threaten Balarama, the Pandavas being mute spectators over here seems to be unbelievable and highly unlikely. Anyways Karna is mentioned three times in the whole chapter (when he fights Samba, when Rama vows to kill him, and when everyone hears Rama's words.) So Karna had to be present here.

Other feats: Other than this Balarama also has other accomplishments.
Uprooted a whole river (called Yamuna) - http://www.sacred-texts.com/hin/vp/vp142.htm

Balarama defeats Jarasandha 18 (eighteen) times - http://www.sacred-texts.com/hin/vp/vp139.htm But here Jarasandh was called a "prince" not a king or lord or Emperor like he truely was. Indicating the man who was defeated by Balram is a prince and not actually Jarasandh rather one of Jarasandh's sons or grandsons.

If we consider all of these as facts then he is superior to Bhishma, Drona, Karna etc, as a warrior.

Karna's digvijaya as per BORI Mahabharata

Over the years (ever since 2014) i have heard several absurd claims being made about Karna's digvijaya. Some say he conquered the world, others say he only conquered a few kingdoms, some say he conquered just second rate kings, others even say that Karna just defeated one king and then started to believe that he conquered the whole world. People say that the critical edition (BORI) removed this incident. But none of these claims are true. That's why i am making this post to clear all doubts and hopefully put an end to the spread of so much misinformation.

Image of Aryavarta/Bharatvarsh (during Mahabharata times).
      • Question: What did BORI do?
        • Answer: Bori basically skipped Karna's digvijaya.
          • Explanation: The digvijaya was supposed to be recited during the Vana Parva (right after Ghosha-Yatra). But when Duryodhana tells Karna that he wishes to replicate the Rajasuya Yajna Sacrifice (of the Pandavas) then the text shows that Karna says all the monarchs of the earth have been conquered by Duryodhana. And are now under his rule.
            • Screenshot
            • Now does it make any sense? If Karna did a digvijaya why would BORI remove it?
          • Explanation: Now Duryodhana says he wants to perform the Rajasuya sacrifice but Karna says as long as Yudhishthira & Dhritarashtra are alive we cannot ever perform this sacrifice. So he recommends to do the Vaishnava sacrifice. Duryodhana agrees and orders the construction of a golden plough. It gets created by artisans, then Duryodhana sends messengers to invite kings and Brahamanas to the sacrifice. Duhsasana sends a messenger to the Pandavas who reject the invitation.
        • The evidence for Karna's digvijaya
          • Mentioned by Bhishma
            • 10th night
Analysis: On the 10th night Bhishma says that Karna single handedly went to some kings capital, and defeated all the kings their in a battle, all for the sake of Duryodhana. I do not know what incident Bhishma is talking about, but it's safe to say that whatever Bhishma said on the tenth night to Karna was just a political move by Bhishma for one last attempt to avert the war. Because in this above screenshot you can clearly read what he says. This quote probably was not even about the conquest of Karna. The next one actually mentions his digvijaya though.
            • 11th day
Analysis: Note that Bhishma claims that Nagnajit was the king that was the forefront (most important and leading king) who was defending the kingdoms that were attacked by Karna. As per Bhishma Karna conquered the Ambhashthas, Videhas, Gandharas, Kiratas and the people who lived in the Himalayan territories. On the eleventh day, Bhishma blesses Karna & tells him to fight.
          • Mentioned by Dhritarashtra
Analysis: This is the strongest of evidence that Karnians have. Dhritarashtra said that Karna is the one who defeated powerful enemies who were extremely difficult to vanquish. He tells this to Sanjaya and then goes on to make a list of the tribes Karna conquered. You can read it in the above screenshot, but i might as well be your story teller here.
      1. Gandharas
      2. Madrakas
      3. Matsyas
      4. Trigartas
      5. Tanganas
      6. Shakas
      7. Panchalas
      8. Videhas
      9. Kunindas
      10. Kashis
      11. Kosalas
      12. Suhmas
      13. Angas
      14. Pundras
      15. Nishadas
      16. Vangas
      17. Kichakas
      18. Vatsas
      19. Kalingas
      20. Taralas
      21. Ashmakas
      22. Rishikas
Analysis continued: Dhritarashtra even claims that Karna vanquished them using physical strength. Did Karna suddenly become a Bhima 2.0? This statement is clearly an exaggeration made up by Dhritarashtra. He's basically saying Karna fought twenty-two wars/battles and won all of them. And they were against all of these tribes/kingdoms (call them whatever you want but they were groups of people that ruled a lot of land in ancient India). I could argue that Dhritarashtra was talking about who was defeated Karna during the Kurukshetra war, but that wouldn't make sense now would it? Because Kichaka and his brothers did not participate in the war (they were all killed much before), so how could Karna defeat them? I think the obvious conclusion is that due to the death of Karna and the defeat of his sons in the war, Dhritarashtra (out of sorrow and grief) started to paint Karna as defeating warriors that he never defeated. This statement was complete exaggeration by Dhritarshtra and should not be taken literally.
          • Mentioned by Shalya
Analysis: As per Shalya he only conquered 5 enemies (Videha, Ambhastha, Kamboja, Nagnajit & Gandhara).
      • What did Karna & Duryodhana really do?
        • Answer: Below
        • They performed the Vaishnava Yajna (sacrifice)
          • This sacrifice had only ever been performed by the ancient one known as "Vishnu". The original vedic Vishnu not the current mythical Vishnu.
            • This sacrifice boasted of being equal to the Rajasuya Yajna sacrifice.
          • They conquered a handful kingdoms (that had many many kings). And forced them all to pay tribute and participate in their sacrifice aka Yajna.
          • They did not conquer the whole earth, world etc. They did not even conquer all of Bharatvarsh & Aryavarta.
            • Even if they did then it's no big feat as other warriors have done the same in the past before them.
          • According to Bhishma
            • According to the Grand-sire only 5 wars were won by Karna (in the Digvijaya). He also says the most important king defeated by Karna is Nagnajit.
        • Warriors defeated by Karna
          • The Kamvojas
            • Rajapura was the capital of the Kamboja kingdom. On Duryodhana’s behalf, Karna led an expedition there.
              • Karna seiged Rajapura and killed most of the warriors of the Kambhoja clan.
                • The Kamvojas lived in the hindu kush mountains (modern day Afghanistan). They were kind of like the Indian version of mongols and Huns.
                  • I guess Karna fans can be proud of this achievement. Because the conquest of Afghanistan is a feat that has only been repeated by Alexander the Great & Genghis Khan. Not to mention the Pandavas themselves.
                    • Even USA & Russia failed to conquer Afghanistan.
              • In Drona Parva this is how they are described
                • But then again, do not forget that this victory is not impressive at all, the Kamvojas have been conquered many times over by people before Karna and after Karna.
          • The Videhas
            • Videha has a capital called Mithila. This is the same country that was ruled by Janaka (the father of Sita from Ramayana). So i guess we can give Karna some props for this.
          • King Nagnajit
            • Unknown king only mentioned twice, by Shalya and Bhishma. That too when talking to Karna.
            • So he could be an interpolated character, nothing is told about him and he is only mentioned to make Karna look good.
          • Himalayas
            • Karna went to the roof of the world (the Himalayas) and conquered everyone who lived their. Although the term everyone may be an exaggeration made by Bhishma.
          • Kirata tribe
            • They were people who are skilled in warfare, they were mountaineers, and lived in the Himalayas protected by fortresses.
            • However they were divided into many groups Bhagadatta was just one of their 8 (eight) kings.
            • And Karna only conquered two tribes of the Kiratas, not all Kiratas. Show me the narrative that says Karna conquered all of them.
          • Ambhasthas
            • These people lived in Lahore (modern day Pakistan) lol.
              • The same country that has been defeated by India in many wars.
                • So what is the bravery in defeating them?
            • Here is some more information about them - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ambashtha
          • Gandhara lands
            • Strange it may seem but Karna held a beef with the Gandharas too (Sakuni & Gandhari's tribe). He conquered them in his digvijay, their is sufficient proof for this.
              • Perhaps he is the one who killed Sakuni's father (Soubala).
            • During his famous conversation (flame war or debate?) with Shalya in the Karna Parva, it is found out that he considered the Gandharas an uncivilized people. That Karna was racist towards Gandharas.
          • Magadha
            • Girivraja was the capital of Magadha and is now in modern day Bihar.
              • But is it not odd that the same Magadha who's previous lord (Jarasandha) was defeated by Karna long ago is now engaging in a second conflict with Karna? This leads me to doubt that Karna even defeated Jarasandha then.
                • Why would Karna have to defeat the same dynasty twice? Does it make any sense?
      • Misconceptions about the digvijaya
        • Misconception #1 Karna conquered the whole world
          • Clearing the misconception: No he did not, that is the dumbest claim any Karna fan could make. If Karna conquered the whole world where are the monuments to give testimony to his great world conquest? Did he conquer the Americas? Australia? Canada? He did not even conquer all of India. Let alone the whole earth.
          • Even if we consider Dhritarashtra's statement (because he is the one who lists the most amount of victims for the conquest of Karna), then it still would not be true. Because Dhritarahstra did not include Raksasas tribes in his fairy tale list.
          • Perhaps Karna only conquered four to five kingdoms, if he conquered one kingdom for every direction then he may be able to make big claims like he own the whole earth because he conquered one kingdom for the south another for the east a third for the north one more for the west etc. Because that meant he conquered all directions.
            • But that would just prove that the statement of KMG Mahabharata is a hyperbole and symbolism. That if you conquer one state like Punjab in India, then you can claim that you won all of india because you conquered one state of india.
        • Misconception #2 Karna defeated all Gandharvas led by Chitrasena, he made Chitrasen bow to him.......
          • Clearing the misconception: No such incident has ever been mentioned in the Mahabharata.
          • Nowhere has it been stated that Karna fought any Gandharva during his digvijaya yatra.
          • Karna's conquest is mentioned 3 times, first by Bhishma, then by Shalya, and lastly by Dhritarashtra. None of these three ever mentioned an encounter where Karna won against Gandharvas.
          • The Gandharas are mentioned but the Gandharvas are not. Theya re not the same the Gandharvas are different from Gandharas.
          • Also just the name of the tribe is not enough, show me the name of Chitrasena being subjugated.
        • Misconception #3 Karna defeated Shalya and conquered the Madrakas
          • Clearing the misconception: Karna and Shalya had many arguments in Karna Parva. Karna even threatened to kill Shalya but never reminded Shalya of this so-called defeat he suffered at the hands of Karna in the Digvijaya. Is it not strange?
          • Prior to the death of Duhsasana, Karna is depressed, then Shalya (in order to cheer Karna up) talked to him about several kingdoms that were conquered by him (by Karna). But he never mentions that Karna conquered the Madra kingdom. That he conquered Shalya's kingdom the tribe of Madrakas etc.
            • Karna bragged to his own brother Bhima about how he had defeated him, so he would surely brag about his achievements in the Digvijaya. This was an opportune moment to brag to Shalya about his conquest, but no he didn't, probably because it never happened!
        • Misconception #4 Karna defeated Drupada and the Panchalas (including Dhrishtadyumna & Srikandi). Karna did this alone but it took all the Pandavas to combine their powers together to defeat the same Drupad.
          • Clearing the misconception: First of all this statement is only partially true. The Drupad who was defeated by Karna was a very old Drupada. It has been almost 60 years ever since the guru dakshina incident of Adi Parva. Drupada was clearly not the same man that he used to be. He was not that great warrior anymore who could best all Kourava princes, defeat all sons of Dhritarashtra, and vanquish even the mighty champion of the Suta race (brave Karna). He was far past his prime and saw no reason to even improve his skills or keep up with the big dogs. Because he had three right hand warriors who were his generals, Srikandi (slayer of Bhishma), Drishtadyumna (slayer of Drona) & Satyajit (considered equal to Arjuna in archery).
            • Second of all it did not take all the Pandavas to defeat Drupada. It only took Arjuna to defeat Drupad. So it only took one Pandava to beat Drupada. Not all five of them. Yudhishthira did not participate in the war. Nakula and Sahadeva were laying waste to the capital during the time that Arjuna defeated Drupada. And Bhima was killed all of the Pancala soldiers. So no it did not take all of them, only one of the Pandava's was more than enough. To defeat the person that was more of a man than all one hundred Kouravas and Karna.
            • Third of all, this incident remains doubtful. It's very questionable if this even happened. Because the Pancalas (who were supposedly conquered by Karna for Duryodhana's sacrifice) lent their support to the Pandavas (the very sworn enemies of Duryodhana) in the war of Kurukshetra.
            • Fourth of all, the only one (in BORI) who says that Karna conquered Panchala is Dhritarashtra. And he only said that out of sorrow and grief once he discovered how Karna died. It is shameless glorifying of warriors who died in Kurukshetra. Same glorifying was done after Bhishma's death & Abhimanyu's death. Even Sanjaya over glorifies Ghatotkaca (after his death) to the point of saying he killed a whole Aukshouni of the Kurus by falling on them with his dead body. It's absurd, ridiculous, and impossible. Same thing with Karna, here Dhritarashtra shows affection for Karna after his death (probably only because of his friendship with the favorite son Duryodhana).
              • Basically Karna fans overrated Karna's adversary only to make Karna's achievement seem bigger than it actually is. All Karna did was defeat an old Drupada (who was near his deathbed), a eunuch (Srikandi), a inexperienced prince (Drishtadyumna), and another overrated old man (Satyajit). I don't see any supernatural achievement that Karna did here. No comparison with the mighty Pandava prince Arjuna. And it's possible that this incident did not even occur in Mahabharata. And even it did then it's not impressive. It does not make him superior to any Pandava.
        • Misconception #5 Karna conquered all the Vrishnis (even Satyaki and Krishna lol)
          • Clearing the misconception: Please Karna fans do not make such jokes, please! Krishna (during Vana Parva) vowed that the earth shall drink the blood of Karna and Duryodhana. Karna was not so powerful that he could defeat Krishna and conquer his kingdom. Such a foolish theory has never been made before. Like really? Krishna was baying for Karna's blood. Krishna is one of the three supreme archers of the Mahabharata (the other two being Arjuna & Satyaki).
            • In Harivamsa (also written by Vyasa) when Karna fight side by side with Jarasandha to complete the conquest of the Vrishnis of Dwaraka, Karna is tied up with a rope and thrown into a cave by Pradyumna (Rukmini's son). It is given in Harivamsa chapter 84, what happened when Karna attacked Dwarka. And this was much before Vana Parva. So Karna would not dare to do such a mistake again.
              • Pradyumna (a little kid) defeated him and beat him up. He would never want to be humiliated like that again.
              • Krishna would never accept Duryodhana's rule over Dwaraka.
            • As for defeating Satyaki. Such a feat could only be accomplished in Karna's dreams. Read this post - https://logicastra.blogspot.com/2017/05/karna-vs-satyaki.html it has been explained how Satyaki defeated Karna ten times. Even on the 17th day Karna was no match for the ace archer Satyaki.
        • Misconception #6 Karna defeated Ekalavya of the Nishadas
          • Clearing the misconception: Leave aside BORI Mahabharata even KMG Mahabharata does not mention the name of Ekalavya anywhere in the digvijaya chapter of Karna. Just the word Nishadas is not enough. Do you not understand?
            • Why would Karna even attack the Nishadas? Why would he fight Ekalavya? Jarasandha was a friend of Karna's and Ekalavya was a servant of Jarasandha. So Karna would be in Ekalavya's good books. So why would their be any conflict between them?
            • If Ekalavya was subjugated by Karna then how come in the Udyoga Parva he was sent a message to lend support to the Pandavas? This must mean that Ekalavya was going to fight against the Kurus, and against Karna in the war of Kurukshetra. So how could Drupada send an appeal for help to a person like Ekalavya (who was supposedly under the rule of the Kouravas)?
              • Drupad is not a fool, he would never send a request for help from someone who has accepted the rule of Duryodhana.
            • Also I would like to point out that Ekalavya was only the member of one tribe of Nishadas, their were multiple tribes of Nishadas. We don't know which Nishadas were conquered by Karna.
            • The only character who states Karna defeated the Nishadas, is Dhritarashtra. He said it in a emotional moment after he learned about the defeat of Duryodhana n the war, the deaths of Duhasana and Karna etc.
              • Other than Dhritarashtra's statement their is no reference for this incident ever happening. So we can only conclude that Karna never defeated any Nishadas prior to the war of Kurukshetra. And by that time Ekalavya was already dead (he died at the hands of Krishna before the war).
        • Misconception #7 Karna defeated Bhagadatta and conquered all the Kirata tribes
          • Clearing the misconception: No Karna did not defeat Bhagadatta. Such an incident has only been mentioned in KMG Mahabharata (with no cross reference to it, so lack of proof in their too). It was removed as an interpolation by BORI.
            • Nowadays Karna fans logic is that because Karna defeated and subjugated the Kiratas, that mean he defeated & subjugated Bhagadatta also. Because Bhagadatta was a chief of the Kiratas. I'll have you all know that even Bhima had defeated the seven kings of Kirata (their were seven kirata kings and all of them were subjugated by Bheema). But none of his fans say that Bima defeated Bhagadatta, because they know that their favorite character and warrior had limits unlike Karna fans.
            • Bhishma said that Karna brought the Kiratas (and everyone who lived in the Himalayas) under Duryodhana's rule. But that is not enough to say that Karna defeated Bhagadatta because his name is not mentioned anywhere. And if a prominent monarch like Bhagadatta was defeated and had his kingdom conquered then it would not remain hidden, it would be stated clearly in the text. but it isn't. So Karna did not defeat Bhagadatta either.
              • Bhagadatta was also stated to be the lord of those beings who dwelt alongside the ocean shores not the Himalayas.
        • Misconception #8 Karna conquered the Matsya kingdom of Virata & Kichaka
          • Clearing the misconception: No he didn't. Why did Karna not conquer this kingdom? Because when Kichaka dies then Susharman (a friend of Duryodhana) comes to Hastinapore and proposes that they attack the Matsya kingdom as Virata would be powerless without Kichaka. To regain the lost lands of Susharman, but if Karna conquered Matsya kingdom prior to this incident then they would have no need for another war with the Matsyas. It would already be under Karna's grip so it is clear as water that Karna never achieved this feat. He never conquered this kingdom.
            • It also proves that Karna was weaker than Kichaka since they were all afraid of Kichaka and never dared to attack the Matsya kingdom as long as Kichaka was alive.
            • Only person who said Karna conquered Kichaka is Dhritarashtra. And that too only in grief when he heard the news of Karna's death he said so. But here is a screenshot form BORI Mahabharata which will prove that Karna was waiting for this opportune moment where his enemy the mighty Kichaka would die so that he can conquer Matsya.
      • Screenshot 1 (Proof that Kichaka was an enemy of the Kouravas)
Analysis: Over here the word enemy is clearly used.
      • Screenshot 2 (Proof that Karna wanted to conquer Matsyadesh of Virata)
Analysis: What i would like to know is why did Karna & Duryodhana not make such an attempt to raid the Matsyas during the digvijaya? This clearly contradicts Dhritarashtra's claim of Karna defeating the Matsyas. Also what about when Kripa asked Karna what he has achieved? Then at that time Karna has no answer, this was during Virata Parva. That Parva is after Vana Parva (where Karna is supposed to have done the digvijay). They should have mentioned how Karna subjugated this land before, but since they did not, that means it's quite obvious that Karna never conquered Matsya, Karna never defeated Virata and Kichaka & Upakichakas.
      Conclusions:
      1. Karna did not conquer the world or earth.
      2. Karna did not conquer India.
      3. Most reporters (Shalya & Bhishma the only unbiased ones) agree that Karna only defeated 5 opponents.
      4. Karna never defeated any Nishadas in his digvijay.
      5. Karna did not defeat any army called Narayani sena.
      6. Karna did not conquer Dwaraka.
      7. Karna did not conquer the Vrishnis.
      8. Karna did not fight any Gandharvas in his campaign.
        1. So he did not avenge his ghosha yatra defeat.
      9. Karna did not ever conquer Matsya kingdom.
      10. Karna was scared of Kichaka's brothers and he feared Kichaka.
      11. Karna did not conquer Shalya and the Madra kingdom either.
      12. Karna did not defeat Jayadratha.
      13. Karna only conquered Videha, Nagnajit, Gandhara, Ambhasta, Kamvoja etc.
      14. Duryodhana performed a sacrifice that only Vishnu ever performed.

Karna conquered the whole world REALLY? Fact check!!!!!!!!!!! CHECK YOUR FACTS.

The claim that a useless warrior like Karna could possibly conquer the world of Mahabharata is ludicrous.
But even if we (at logic astra) did accept that Karna conquered the world then big deal (sarcasm). Many others also did what he did.

      1. Pandu
      2. Nahusa
      3. Prahlada
      4. Kartavirya
      5. Arjuna
      6. Yudhishthira

      • Their have been many conquerors of the world in Mahabharata.
Here are the conquerors of the world of Mahabharata.
        • Pandu conquering the world
      Quote:
And after thirty days had elapsed, the Kuru king, O monarch, started from his capital for the conquest of the world. And after reverentially saluting and bowing to Bhishma and the other elders of the Kuru race, and with adieus to Dhritarashtra and others of the family, and obtaining their leave, he set out on his grand campaign, accompanied by a large force of elephants, horses, and cars, and well-pleased with the blessings uttered by all around and the auspicious rites performed by the citizens for his success. And Pandu, accompanied by such a strong force marched against various foes. And that tiger among men--that spreader of the fame of the Kurus--first subjugated the robber tribes of asarna. He next turned his army composed of innumerable elephants, cavalry, infantry, and charioteers, with standards of various colours against Dhirga--the ruler of the kingdom of Maghadha who was proud of his strength, and offended against numerous monarchs. And attacking him in his capital, Pandu slew him there, and took everything in his treasury and also vehicles and draught animals without number. He then marched into Mithila and subjugated the Videhas. And then, O bull among men, Pandu led his army against Kasi, Sumbha, and Pundra, and by the strength and prowess of his arms spread the fame of the Kurus. And Pandu, that oppressor of foes, like unto a mighty fire whose far-reaching flames were represented by his arrows and splendour by his weapons, began to consume all kings that came in contact with him. These with their forces, vanquished by Pandu at the head of his army, were made the vassals of the Kurus. And all kings of the world, thus vanquished by him, regarded him as the one single hero on earth even as the celestials regard Indra in heaven. And the kings of earth with joined palms bowed to him and waited on him with presents of various kinds of gems and wealth, precious stones and pearls and corals, and much gold and silver, and first-class kine and handsome horses and fine cars and elephants, and asses and camels and buffaloes, and goats and sheep, and blankets and beautiful hides, and cloths woven out of furs. And the king of Hastinapura accepting those offerings retraced his steps towards his capital, to the great delight of his subjects. And the citizens and others filled with joy, and kings and ministers, all began to say, 'O, the fame of the achievements of Santanu, that tiger among kings, and of the wise Bharata, which were about to die, hath been revived by Pandu. They who robbed before the Kurus of both territory and wealth have been subjugated by Pandu--the tiger of Hastinapura--and made to pay tribute.' And all the citizens with Bhishma at their head went out to receive the victorious king.
Analysis: Read the text above, it clearly suggests and it is written that Pandu defeated all kings of the earth. In this way the whole world was conquered by Pandu. A so-called napunsak was able to do what Karna failed to do.

      Source: http://www.sacred-texts.com/hin/m01/m01114.htm
        • Yudhishthira says that he himself conquered the whole world
          • Yudhishthira tells Krishna that he (himself) has conquered the whole earth (aka world).
      Quote:
And after Krishna had been seated at ease, that bull among men, the son of Pandu, with Dhaumya and Dwaipayana and the other sacrificial priests and with Bhima and Arjuna and the twins, addressed Krishna thus,-- 'O Krishna it is for thee that the whole earth is under my sway. And, O thou of the Vrishni race, it is through thy grace that vast wealth had been got by me. And, O son of Devaki, O Madhava, I desire to devote that wealth according to the ordinance, unto superior Brahmanas and the carrier of sacrificial libations.
Analysis: Yudhishthira ruled the whole world, he told this to Krishna and the latter did not have any objection, he did not disagree with Yudhisthira's words at all. So what is so great if Karna did what the Pandavas did?

          • Nahusa even calls Yudhishthira a lord of the earth
      Quote:
And, O lord of the earth, by Agastya have I been reduced to this pass!
Analysis: This is when Yudhishthira was in exile. He is called lord of the earth when he is in exile, away from society.

        • Nahusa conquered the world
      Quote:
And I was a king celebrated under the name of Nahusha. And by sacrifices and p. 360 asceticism and study of the Vedas and self-restraint and prowess I had acquired a permanent dominion over the three worlds. And when I had obtained such dominion, haughtiness possessed me. And thousands of Brahmanas were engaged in carrying my chair.
Analysis: Dominion aka dominance. Nahusa obtained dominance over all worlds. Not just earth. But Karna failed to obtain dominance over even just one world (earth) let alone other worlds.

      Quote 2:
In days of yore, while I used to sojourn in heaven in a celestial chariot, revelling in my pride, I did not think of anything else, I used to exact tribute from Brahmarshis, Devas, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Rakshasas, Pannagas and all other dwellers of the three worlds. O lord of earth, such was the spell of my eyes, that on whatever creature, I fixed them, I instantly destroyed his power.
Analysis: This passage suggests that Nahusa defeated Gandharvas, Yakshas, Rakshasas, Pannagas, Devas & Brahmarshis etc and snatched any wealth they had from them. He forced them to hand over their belongings by making them pay tribute. The text suggests that Nahusa had some special ability to destroy a person's power (the ability to do something, have control over others).

        • Prahlada conquered the world
      Quote:
In days of yore, the Daitya Prahlada, by the merit of his behaviour, snatched from the high-souled Indra his sovereignty and reduced the three worlds to subjection.
Analysis: According to Dhritarashtra (the father of useless Karna's best friend Duryodhana), the three worlds because the subjects of Prahlada.

        • Kartavirya Arjuna (the thousand armed Arjuna from another Yuga not Mahabharata's Arjuna) also conquered the world.
      Quote:
Meanwhile the mighty son of Kritavirya, viz., Arjuna of the Kshatriya order and ruler of the Haihayas, endued with great energy, highly virtuous in behaviour, and possessed of a thousand arms through the grace of (the great Rishi) Dattatreya, having subjugated in battle, by the might of his own arms, the whole earth with her mountains and seven islands, became a very powerful emperor and (at last) p. 102 gave away the earth unto the Brahmanas in a horse-sacrifice.
Analysis: It's written that after conquering the earth he donated it back to a Brahmana tribe during a horse sacrifice. But just like it's not true that this Arjuna had a thousand arms (it could be symbolism in the text) it's probably not true that he conquered the world. But since the text say so, then he did, if Karna conquered the world then Kartavirya Sahastrarjuna also conquered it and with ease. If this story is true then Arjuna is also a better donator and daanveer than Karna can ever be.

        • It was also stated that Arjuna conquered the whole world
          • As per Dhritarashtra
      Quote:
Single-handed, Partha ravished Bhadra, and single-handed, he gratified Agni. Single-handed, he subjugated the whole Earth, and made all the kings pay tribute. Single-handed, with his celestial bow he slew the Nivatakavachas. Single-handed, he contended in battle with Mahadeva who stood before him in the guise of a hunter. Single-handed, he protected the Bharatas, and single-handed, he gratified Bhava. Single-handed, were vanquished by him all the kings of the Earth endued with fierce prowess. The Kurus cannot be blamed.
[in this image Arjuna is the one with blue skin and curly hair]
Analysis: Dhritarashtra who was pro kaurava and was the father of Karna's best friend Arjuna, said these things. So he was being unbiased over here and true to himself. He claimed that Arjuna conquered the whole world. But the same man Dhritarashtra never claimed that Karna conquered the world. And some people may refute this by saying Dhritarashtra was mentioning PARTHA in this text not Arjuna and Partha could mean any sons of Kunti. But the reason in this text it is Arjuna is because all of the feats that are mentioned by Dhritarashtra (in this text) have been performed by Arjuna. So it has to be him, also if you go back in the beginning of the section you can see Dhritarashtra talks about Arjuna.

          • As per Sanjaya
      Quote:
Equal unto the chief of the celestials, that hero gratified Agni at Khandava and vanquished all the monarchs of the earth on the occasion of the great Rajasuya.
Analysis: And Sanjaya was a suta just like Karna so he should also know the facts. He should also be unbiased as he is from Karna's race. As per maha gyani Sanjaya the Pandava prince Arjuna defeated all rulers of the earth (that would include Karna too) during the Rajasuya.

      Message to Karna fans below:
So if you all want to believe that Karna conquered the world then you Karna fans must accept that Yudhishthira conquered the world. Prahlada conquered the world. Nahusha conquered the world, even Arjuna conquered the world!
In the next post i will bring screenshots from BORI CE translation by Bibek Debroy. To prove this with crystal clear evidence that Karna did not conquer the earth.
