Battle records of Yuyudhana Satyaki vs Suta Karna according to BORI Mahabharata

Satyaki vs Karna according to Bori Mahabharata.
Since many people have doubts about Satyaki's capability's and use Bori Mahabharata as an excuse making statements like it removed all of Satyaki's achievements etc, i am going to make this post with proof and screenshots from the text of Bori Mahabharata. This will prove the skills of Satyaki and the fact that Bori did not make itself an anti Satyaki Mahabharata. I will only provide proof from Bori.
  • Satyaki vs Karna (according to Bori)
    • 1st instance (11th day)

Analysis
Drona clearly told everyone on his side including Karna to stop fleeing the battlefield. The only person in the Kourava army that was still their was Drona. Over here Karna is mentioned along with Satyaki. So he had to have fought with him. It is written in the text that the warriors fought to kill each other. Even while seeking to kill his opponent still Karna fled and Satyaki won.

Analysis
Karna was not outnumbered as many Karna fans claim. Karna actually had a huge team supporting him. 15 warriors protecting his flank and 3 of his brothers supporting him along with the Nishadas. So in actuality in terms of numbers it was Karna's team who had the numerical advantage.
Karna failed to pierce or wound any of his opponents. He only cut off their weapons. Yet all of his opponents (including Satyaki who we are talking about) injured him here. Three arrows of Satyaki assailed Karna's body.

Analysis:
The argument that Karna was outnumbered is foolish here. Karna had the support of twenty other warriors (they were all killed) but still Karna couldn't handle even 4 warriors (Satyaki, Bhima, Dhrishtadyumna, Arjuna)? Satyaki not only cut off Karna's bow but he also pierced Karna's body and bathed him in blood here. Karna also had to be rescued by who? By Drona, Jayadratha & Duryodhana. Satyaki being protected by other Pandava warriors was stated later on in the text after Karna was defeated.

Analysis
Satyaki and Karna were fighting a one on one battle, over here i did not find that Satyaki had any unfair advantage, Satyaki did not use any dirty tricks. Another argument would be that Karna was badly wounded and exhausted after his battles against Bheema & Arjuna so that is why he failed against Satyaki. Kritavarman, Drona, Vikarna, Duryodhana, Sudarsana, Duhsasana, Jalasandha, Bhurishravas etc all of these people were fought by Satyaki before he fought Karna that day. So Satyaki would be without a doubt out of stamina way more than Karna. Satyaki was more exhausted and Karna wasn't! Karna made no promise to Satyaki's mother that he would spare him yet Karna was defeated, why? Karna could not save his new charioteer and new horses from Satyaki's lethal arrows. What a pathetic warrior, what a pathetic archer.

Analysis
Karna made many strong efforts for killing Satyaki but he had failed miserably. Karna and his gang surrounded Satyaki encircling him from all sides yet the mighty-armed Satyaki destroys Karna's circle of warriors defeats him and spares his life. Karna is now indebted to Satyaki. It was never stated anywhere that Satyaki's chariot gave him a advantage.

Analysis
It was stated over here that Karna fled. Dhritarashtra himself said they were agitated by Pandava warriors. He also said that warriors on his side were blinded and shattered by darkness. Even though Karna is supposedly the son of Surya (the god of the sun/light) he was agitated by darkness. He was among the Kourava army at that time. He is mentioned along with Satyaki in the same line. Indirectly Dhritarashtra said Karna was being defeated.

Analysis
Satyaki cuts Karna's arrows and wounds him, the narrator tries to say the battle is equal but the fact that Karna's son had to save him proves that it was not. Satyaki clearly defeated Karna here. Also the fact that Satyaki asked Karna to wait and not run away is proof that prior to this incident Karna ran away from Satyaki in a fight before this. Vrishasena (the armored son of Karna) had to rescue Karna by interfering in the battle. This proves that Satyaki had the upperhand, if not a victory then Satyaki deserves credit for this performance.
      • 3rd encounter
Screenshot
Analysis
Over here it was both father and son (Karna and Vrishasena) fighting Satyaki together. Proving that alone they would never have been able to stand a chance against Satyaki. Satyaki was able to cut off the bows and arm-guards of his opponents. But did Karna & Vrishasena ever achieve such a feat in this fight? No. Also after this incident Karna suggests a group attack on Satyaki (indirectly admitting that Satyaki is victorious and Karna has been defeated). Another victory for Satyaki.

Screenshot
Analysis
Over here Krishna was stating facts. He said that Satyaki was being shattered by the arrows of Karna. And that Arjuna should go over their in that direction to kill Karna. But this is very contradictory as Karna still possesses the Vasavi dart with him, and Ghatotkaca is still alive. So why would Krishna say these things? Maybe this incident is an interpolation to glorify Karna.

Analysis
The battle was not over just yet, the rest of it was skipped and not narrated. All Karna did was make Satyaki tremble. How is that a victory? The fight continued and it was stated that all their bows could be seen drawn to circles. This suggests the fight was still taking place and going on. And Satyaki was not a king. So clearly Karna did not drive him away

    Analysis
This incident seems like blood cancer for Karna fans. They made claims like this incident was removed by BORI but fortunately the truth is here! Satyaki checks Drona, Kripa & the useless suta Karna. Arjuna and Krishna also stated that Satyaki was toying with his opponents and had the upper hand. Now over here he had no special chariot and Karna has no special handicap.

    Analysis
Now the argument that several warriors group attacked Karna is stupid. group attacks were common and prior to this fight Satyaki was having a lone match against Karna yet Karna had to be rescued by a team of atirathis.

    Analysis
This is more proof that Satyaki is winning. It was a group attack on Karna yes. But Karna had the Vijaya bow over here, Salya as a driver, and celestial chariot. The asura Naraka was also possessing him. So Karna should have been able to fight the very best he could possibly fight. But no! Still Karna was defeated and got rescued by his sons. Karna was useless. The second screenshot clearly says Wishing to save their father, the strikers who were Karna's sons, so don't speak to me about Karna being a better warrior than Satyaki.
        • 2nd fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here in this fight their was no real result. It was still continuing and going on. Karna was protected by all the soldiers in Dhritarashtra's army while Satyaki had the support of the Pandavas & Shikhandi.
        • 3rd fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here Karna actually won his fight. He defeated Satyaki, he had the upperhand on him. But this defeat can be dismissed as a battle on unequal footings. As Karna had the support of an asura named Naraka (who possessed him on the last day of his life). The support of a driver superior to Krishna (Salya) and the protection of his sons, he had better technology than Satyaki, (the vijaya bow) that is why he won. It was an unfair war lol. Coward Karna never wins on his own merit.
        • 4th fight

    Analysis
The result of this fight? A stalemate. No one side was proving better than the other. So Karna and Satyaki were equals over here. This encounter was a draw.
        • 5th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here this incident can also be seen as Karna running away from Satyaki. The text says he defeated Satyaki yet Satyaki continued to pursue Karna from behind? Is it not odd? If that was the case then why did Karna not continue to fight with Satyaki to finally kill him or defeat him once and for all. Why did he allow Satyaki to keep following him, and why did he avoid a fight with Satyaki? Why would Karna try to fight Pancalas (warriors weaker than Satyaki)? Because Karna realized he can never defeat Satyaki probably.
        • 6th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here Satyaki and Karna had another stalemate their fight ended with no result. Although this was the mercy of Karna's technology and the possession of Naraka.

    Analysis
Over here all that is stated is that Karna countered all of them, he matched his opponents move for move. This is not a defeat or victory for anyone.
        • 8th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Krishna compared Karna to Indra over here and claimed that Karna was defeating all the great warriors of the Pandava army. So i will count this as a defeat of Satyaki. But just no that it was because of unequal footings.
        • 9th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here again it is said that people who are wishing to serve Satyaki are losing to Karna. But this is not said to be a group attack. So this cannot be declared a defeat either because the servants of Satyaki are mentioned not Satyaki himself. This was not even a fight between them.
        • 10th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here Karna had the upper hand, he managed to cut off the bow of Satyaki. Not only did he cut off Satyaki's bow, he also performed these feats while fighting Bima at the same time! This is another defeat of Satyaki (only on the 17th day).
        • 11th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here their was another draw. No result was shown. Karna killed Satyaki's horses. Karna wanted to kill Satyaki but he (Karna) still failed to kill Satyaki. He couldn't do anything. He attacks helpless animals (horses) whoa re defenseless instead of fighting a brave man like Satyaki. The son of Karna Sushena was slain by Satyaki's well-shot arrows. Karna was senseless with rage but yet his weapons were countered by a eunuch like Srikandi!
        • 12th fight
    Screenshot
    Analysis
Over here Karna has the help of Kripa, Bhoja, and sons of Dhritarashtra. Yet despite all of these noticeable facts he was beaten by Satyaki over here. Satyaki became invincible and defeating Satyaki became a dream for Karna. I've heard rumors that Krishna gave Satyaki a boon of invincibility. But their is no proof for this claim.

    Conclusions:
How many times did Satyaki defeat Karna? (All of these incidents are included in BORI CE and have been proved with the help of screenshots).
    1. 11th day
      1. Satyaki fights Karna for the first time ever and Drona tells him to stop fleeing. Meaning Karna ran away during this first fight.
    2. 12th day
      1. Satyaki defeats Karna and wounds his body with over sixty arrows, so Karna needs a rescue team to save him.
    3. 14th day
      1. Satyaki cuts off Karna's bow, destroys his chariot, kills his horses, slayed his driver, and overall exposes Karna, disrobing Karna in battle again.
    4. 14th day
      1. Karna and seven others can't even take a single car warrior. And they lose to Satyaki. He not only defeats them he also spares Karna's life over here to honor the words of Arjuna.
    5. 14th night
      1. Satyaki fights with Karna and Karna runs away, Dhritarashtra himself admits this).
    6. 14th night
      1. Satyaki fights with karna and defeats him, he is about to humiliate Karna but the latter's son intervenes.
    7. 14th night
      1. Satyaki defeats both Karna and Vrishasena. Karna becomes scared and begs Duryodhana for help.
    8. 15th day
      1. Satyaki (while mild) is able to hold off and check sometimes prevail over three maharathis simultaneously including Karna. After this incident Karna s not mentioned in the text till the death of Drona.
    9. 16th day
      1. Satyaki wounds Karna and has the upper hand on him so Kuru warriors interfere in the fight to save Karna.
    10. 17th day
      1. Group attack on Karna led by Satyaki, Karna is losing so his sons save him.
    11. 17th day
      1. Karna runs away to fight foot soldiers after Satyaki pursues him.
    12. 17th day
      1. Karna's son is killed by Satyaki right infront of his eyes. And Karna fails to kill Satyaki back.
    13. 17th day
      1. Satyaki is ambushed by Karna, Kritavarman, Kripa & Kouravas. Yet Satyaki destroys this circle of warriors and they fail to defeat him.
How many times did Karna defeat Satyaki?
    1. 12th day
      1. Karna cut off the bow and dart of Satyaki but never wounded Satyaki. The main reason this is declared as a defeat is because Arjuna had to distract Karna to leave Satyaki by killing Karna's foster brothers.
    2. 14th night
      1. One interpolated victory of Karna where Krishna states that Satyaki has been defeated by Karna and is in danger of losing his life.
    3. 16th day
      1. Satyaki's name was not mentioned but it is implied that he was defeated by Karna after because so many warriors attacked Karna and Satyaki had to be a part of this group at the end of that day. Even Duryodhana mentioned one defeat of Satyaki where Karna vanquished him. So it has to have some truth behind it.
    4. 17th day
      1. Karna defeats Satyaki and his group of warriors. But his victory was only due to the fact that he had superior technology and was possessed by an Asura called Naraka.
    5. 17th day
      1. The same incident that is seen as Karna running away from Satyaki can often be seen as Karna defeating Satyaki and going to fight Panchala warriors to defend his army.
        1. He is the chief of the Kuru forces now so he has too many responsibilities on his hand.
      2. Their are two sides to this incident, that's why i can not declare it as a no result or draw/stalemate.
    6. 17th day
      1. Krishna said that Karna was destroying Satyaki over here but this could be an interpolation as it is from the same paragraph in which Krishna says Karna used the Pasupata weapon.
    7. 17th day
      1. Karna cut off the bow of Satyaki and defeated him very badly over here. It was an amazing feat as he did this while having to fight with the mighty Bheema at the same time. Karna was fighting like a cornered cat though.
    Disproving excuses for Karna's defeats
    1. Satyaki did a group attack on Karna
      1. No he didn't
      2. Have you people even read the amount of times that Karna did a group attack on Satyaki? Here is the list.
        1. 12th day
        2. 14th day
        3. 14th night
        4. 14th night
        5. 15th day (with Drona and Kripa at his side)
        6. 17th day
    2. Krishna was in his mind dampening Karna's true capability
      1. That's not what was stated. So stop misinterpreting texts.
      2. The only thing Krishna did is he stopped Karna from throwing the Vasavi dart not anything else.
      3. Krishna only did this during the duels Karna had with Arjuna, not Satyaki and not Bhima.
      4. If this is the case then this only affects Karna till the 14th night. But after the 14th night their are several incidents where Satyaki still disrobes Karna on the battlefield.
        1. I am going to list them now.
          1. 15th day
          2. 16th day
          3. 17th day
          4. 17th day
    3. Satyaki had a special chariot
      1. First of all it was never stated that Satyaki's chariot gave him any special advantage.
      2. Their have been several times in the Kurukshetra war where he did not have that chariot yet he still made Karna bite the dust. Let me list them out now.
        1. 11th day
        2. 12th day
        3. 14th night
        4. 14th night
        5. 14th night
        6. 15th day
        7. 16th day
        8. 17th day
        9. 17th day
        10. 17th day
      3. People will make the bullshit claim and excuse that Satyaki had a divine chariot to help him, and when you have better technology (than your opponent) then you will win. But that's false, because Satyaki having that divine chariot is not as much of an advantage as Karna having the support of 7 Maharathis (Duhsasana, Duryodhana, Suyodhana, Aswathaman, Kritavarman, Shalya, Vrishasena etc). No matter what the case it was Satyaki versus eight people and yet he was still able to not only pull off such a good performance but also defeat Karna. He spared Karna's life over here.
        1. So it was a unfair battle for Satyaki not Karna. Karna is a cheat.
    4. Karna was not using his Vijaya bow
      1. Yes he actually was using his Vijaya bow (on the 17th day) and yet still he got his arse kicked by Satyaki.
      2. Before the Vijaya bow Karna used a blazing bow during the 11th and 12th days. Satyaki cut it off (thus disarming Karna)
      3. So what? Satyaki had no special bow like the Saranga/Gandiva/Vijaya to help him out. So why does Karna need one?
    Some notable facts
    1. Satyaki spared Karna's life but Karna never spared Satyaki's life
    2. Satyaki is a true full blooded Yadava while Karna is only a half-yadava
    3. Karna's fans always make excuses for his defeats but no one makes and excuse for Satyaki
    4. Satyaki did less group attacks then Karna did. The majority of the group attacks were done by karna.
    5. Satyaki killed a family member of Karna (his son Prasena) but Karna never killed even one family member of Satyaki
    6. Even when karna had the Vijaya bow (17th day) still Satyaki defeated him many times.
    7. Karna's very few amount of victories over Satyaki are questionable (later additions) and due to trivial technicalities at times.
    8. Satyaki defeated Karna more than twice the number of times that Karna defeated Satyaki. So that means for every instance their is a defeat of Sayaki at the hands of Karna, their are at-least two incidents for Karna facing a defeat at the hands of Satyaki.
    9. Satyaki has a good reason to not kill karna, because he wanted to protect the words of Arjuna. But Karna had no excuse for his failure to kill Satyaki.
      1. Karna made no promise to Satyaki's mother, and Satyaki was not a relative of Karna in any way.
By the way the warriors often had multiple encounters during the same day that's why when i list out the defeats i state the same day/night as a defeat. Either way Satyaki > Karna. He was the BAAP of Karna.
So overall the results of the Satyaki vs Karna confrontations remain in Satyaki's favor not Karna's. Satyaki defeated karna more times. Karna defeated Satyaki 7 times, but Satyaki defeated Karna 13 times! Even Krishna has called Satyaki more than a match for Karna and superior during the 14th day. These are all 13 instances where Satyaki fought Karna and performed better than him. And that is proof of his superiority.
