Why Starplus Mahabharat is bad (part 4).

Prelude - I know that this tv series began and ended a long time ago. But at the same time its existence sparks debate, arguments & dispute's all the time. So it needs to be addressed called out & exposed as being one of the shows that suck's and did not do any real justice to it's source material and audience.
=
33rd episode;
Automatically when Vidur, the pandava's & Kunti enter Hastinapore then Vidur tells Kunti "their are one hundred children opposed to your five children" not only is Yuyutsu missing but Vidur appeared to say this to criminalize the sons of Dhritrashtra before they even meet the Pandava's so not only do the pandavas but even Kunti has a bad impression of the 100 kids, when they have yet to meet or harm the pandava brother's.

Their was a annoying flashback with stupid music completely unnecessary, then a meeting Kunti had with Karna, as if Karna somehow felt like he had a blood connection to the pandavas already. Which is another unnecessary scene. For some dumb reason multiple other citizens of Hastinapore not just karna touched her feet.

A wrestler from Magadh came to Hastinapore accompanying the pandava's which made no sense as in a earlier episode it's mentioned that Magadh is a enemy state to Hastinapore.
It's like starplus deliberately makes inconsistencies.
The wrestlers of Magadh claim to be servant's of Bhishma as they follow his order's, but it makes no sense for them to not be servants of Jarasandha instead, so bhishma should have never been their boss.

Another thing Yudhisthir tells Nakul/Sahadev to touch the feet of Duhsasan but that made no sense as Duhsasan did not introduce himself, he said a insult but he did not mention his own name at all so it makes no sense for Yudhisthir to know his name when this's the first moment he met him.
=
34th episode;
The introduction of Purochan, why it's a problem lies in the actor who is playing his role, as this actors face is changed, basically he is replaced.
{the original purochan}
When Sakuni had a private conversation with child Duryodhan (or teenager whatever u call the 15 year old with facial hair) then he said that Bhishma is his uncle. We all should realise that this's another mistake, cause bhishma was duryodhan's grand uncle (uncle to father) not his uncle so star plus made themselves look stupid again. The jokes, gaali's, insult's & roasts used by the kourav brother's (whose leader when duryodhan is not around is duhsasanh) are extremely lame and low tier.

They said "you cant eat without permission" to the pandavs then "these forest dwellers dont even know the manners and etiquette of living in a royal mansion" after that "this happens whenever you live with forest dweller's" it makes no sense for anyone to think those words are funny, it would have been better if they came up with a real insult.

The hooded figure (Duryodhanbeing able to recognize bheem and the kourav's by their voices does not make any sense as their are 99 kouravas (excluding Suyodhan) so he should not have been able to recognize a person based on their voice unless it was an important person like Duhsasan.

Since that hooded person was Duryodhan then it still made no sense cause he has only ever heard the voices of three pandavas not all five of them. And why Sahadev who can see the future in this tv serial is not able to warn the pandavas that they will be disrespected by their uncle's children made no sense, he should have alerted them earlier.
By the way....Sugadha is still in the show but her children do not exist for some unknown reason & now she's becoming friends with Kunti. And the introduction of Duhsalaa proves the gender bias that the screen writer's have, they have no issue with making each kourava a hater of the pandavs, but just cause Duhsala is a female the writers decided to make her's a positive character that has no hatred at all, very disgusting double standard of the writing team.

When Vidur talked to the prince's at the dining table then he made a mistake, he mentioned two names "dushalan" "shraman" but if you read Mahabharat, or just this post which has their names, then no prince had those two names at all.
=
35th episode:
Not much for me to label an error. Besides the obsession that they have with food, and the fact Bhishma still looks too young to be 2 generation's older than Dhritrashtra. Also a important mistake is that Sakuni was supposed to be kicked out of hastinapore in the same episode that Bhishma tore the dice in. He should've been sent back to Gandhar (his home-state) but instead we see he's still in Hastinapore.
=
36th episode:
In the 3 minute mark of the episode when the kouravas encircled the pandav brother's their should be at least 98 of them, unfortunately their are only 18 instead.
{count it yourself}
Sakuni still being in hastinapore despite Bhishma's warning in the tv series, it seems like now they are trying to follow Adi Parva of Kmg Mahabharat instead, as Sakuni was their in the chapter where Bheem was poisoned, but as per the show itself this is indeed a mistake.

During the 10 minute mark Kunti said "in 15 year's so much changed in Hastinapore" but it makes no sense cause Arjuna (who is younger to Duryodhan/Bheem) is 15 or maybe Nakul/Sahadev were 15 (as their births were shown before the fifteen year time skip) so if anything Kunti should have said either 16 years OR 17 years (cause that is the last time she was in Hastinapore before leaving with Pandu).
=
37th episode.
Here Drona looks older than Bhishma as he had gray hair, i assume this's due to the bias people have against Drona (mahabharat fans are angry that drona was better than namard's like parshuram, hanuman, bhishma, karna etc).
Yet Bhishma himself had nothing besides black hair in the same episode. Drona is supposed to be younger than Bhishma.

Mother Kunti told the pandavas in this same tv serial to always stick together yet instead of doing that Bheem decided to get led astray by Duryodhan, he got separated from the herd. And more importantly during the 18 minute 40 second mark of this episode, Bheem said to Duryodhan "you are my ANOOJ you eat first" Anooj mean's younger brother so this's even worse as Bheem was supposed to be the same age instead of older than Duryodhan.

Also Duryodhan as a child had facial hair, bheem in his childhood as a mota lacked any facial hair. Duryodhan also second's later mentioned that Bheem is older than himself..
=
38th episode;
It's mentioned that Drona would become the guru of the kuru prince's but in Mahabharat the book the story is different compared to the TV series. Their it's stated that the first mentor was Kripa right after the poisoning incident of Bheem at PramanaKoti then the next tutor became Drona. The time the kuru prince's spent studying under Kripa was actually very little, their main teacher was Drona only.

Other mistake - The place where Kunti was doing her worship to a phallus/lingam is clearly the same region where Krishna (saurabh gay jain) talk's to the audience directly informing them of things that seem to be wise but are not in actuality.
But it is clearly obvious that is the same region so the writers need to correct this instead of letting a mistake like this just slide.

Another very big error.
This one has to do with age, all viewer's can see the time slot's, how did Kripa gain a couple strand's of white/grey hair in less than 3 minutes?

Mistake is this, what the ganga river appears to look like below.
First of all it is the ganga river because Sakuni told Duryodhan to throw Bheem their (as then he would go to heaven after death & the magnitude of the crime/sin/adharma/paap will decrease). So it has to be it (ganga/gange's).
Now i'd also like to mention that in the 1500's (A.D.) Babur the moghul emperor said that ganga's river is clean, better than nectar itself, he never mentioned that it was green, dirty or impure. This Mahabharat story in Adi Parva takes place before Babur invaded northern india, so theirs no excuse for ganga to look so disgusting compared to back then.
=
39th episode:
The scene of Bheem disguised in a hoodie, covering his face etc is not only akin to the TV serials (saas bahu crap drama) that show female characters and males covering their faces with a piece of cloth (like Ashok's mother from "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat" a 2015 tv series) but it is also a direct copy of a earlier scene involving Duryodhan refusing to grant bheem the permission to eat food (in episode 34).
So this problem is basically a lack of any originality, completely copying from it self. If the writers of star bharat desired to copy anything then they should've copied from Kmg Mahabharat or Bori Ce mahabharat or even sarala das/kashidasi mahabharat.

And another problem would be this.
You may not get it but this's what Yudhisthir looked like before he turned into an adult as per this TV serial.
Then he becomes (this) instead.
Would it not make more sense if that photo of the teenager yudhisthir was a young shaheer sheikh? He also had the same clothing (white robes/golden ornament's).
But instead Shaheer is playing the role of Arjuna (who as a kid in this tv show had smaller eye balls as a child).
=
Anyways to continue with episode 39 instead of getting off topic...

The serial writer's made another annoying mistake by having Vasuki tell Bheem that he was told by the wind god to send troop's. And the ancestor of bheem who was a naga is Aryaka, not Vasoo (so what vasuki said isn't correct at all).

Lastly Vasuki mentioned "my soldier's got to know of your strength by meeting you" but a fight is never shown on screen in this episode, so the fans who watch it for action will be displeased, dissatisfied. And according to the tv series he had the drink called "Soma Juice" instead of Rasa Kunda.

Read the content in this link & see for yourself https://sacred-texts.com/hin/m01/m01129.htm the drink's name is "Rasakunda" not "Soma" and also in the tv serial Vasuki said bheem would gain the power of 100 elephants.
But in the book he's supposed to have the power of 10 thousand elephants (he was born naturally with power of 1 thousand elephants before drinking 9 jar's of rasakunda). Finally done with episode thirty nine now onto the finale.
=
EPISODE 40:
Here a obvious problem is that Vidura's role is neglected, he was the one who told bheem to choose inaction instead of retaliation against Duryodhan as per the book, another mistake is that in this tv serial we never see how Bhishma, Dhritrashtra & Kunti found out it was Duryodhan who was behind the tragedy that Bheem just had.

It seemed like a conversation happened off-screen between the character's where Duryodhan got exposed as being the one who tried murdering bheem. And then their's a incident where Bhishma bossed king Dhritrashtra around ordering him what to do yet in earlier episodes Bhishma claimed to be a slave with no free will or authority.

Then it's stated by Bhishma "your sons & the pandavas will spend 12 years in the academy of Guru Drona, far from hastinapore"
Issue Their should not be a time skip that is even close to a decade long between the Praman-koti poisoning and the Tournament where the prince's display their power.

Because of this quote;
"On the death of their father the Pandavas came to their own home. And within a short time they became well-versed in archery."
[end]
Comment - it shows and says that a very small period passed in terms of time, i deem this to be a reference to the length of time it took for them to learn under guru Drona. Certainly not twelve years.

SO... IT'S another problem.
And since they made Sakuni the king of Gandhar so early i can easily assume they are choosing to not show Naganjit (the other king of Gandhar) and they wont show Sakuni's father (he participated in Droupadi's Swayamvara).
They also will now exclude other character's (like the younger brothers of Sakuni who fought in the war). Meaning this tv series will refuse to give lesser known characters any importance.

The only thing i liked about this episode is that Bheem said he was stronger than Hanuman, as Hanuman is a overrated gandu.

Reason's Why Starplus Mahabharat is bad (part 3).

=
Intro:
I originally intended on going on till episode 40 at least but due to the sheer number of errors, problems and reasons why the following episodes are bad i was only able to cover between episodes 26 till 32. My next post will certainly be longer.

Link to the former post https://logicastra.blogspot.com/2023/06/reasons-why-star-plus-mahabharat-is-bad.html
=
Episode 26.
The mistake is right under on the photo.
Problem - it shows Dhritrashtra with a mukut (crown) while he also had armor on, the major issue is the mukut itself, why does dhritrashtra have a mukut when he has a desire of going on a dig-vijay. But Arjun, Duryodhan, Bheem etc and none of the characters have mukut's when going to wars later on between episodes 48 to 267?
Another mistake is that Dhritrashtra for some reason before getting invading another country needs Bhishma's permission, which made no sense as the independent lord of hastinapore is Dhritrashtra, even in the book itself Dhritrashtra had the ability to make his own decision's it was him who gave permission to others.

In the dice game he returned everything back to the pandavs before the decision for a second game was made. It seems like the starplus writer's team wanted to unnecessarily highlight Bhishma to make him relevant again.

Once again a new entry happen's a character is introduced, his name is "Vyaas" (how the actors pronounce it), he was supposed to be the singer of Mahabharat, but nothing is mentioned about how Ganesh aided him in writing it (only ekta kapoor jee gave Ganesh respect). For a important character like Vyaas this seem's to be a very lame and unimpactful entry.
Oh by the way here it seems like (based off looks only) vyasa was Satyavati's father as he looks older than she does..
What a nice change made by Starplus (sarcasm should be sensed as the truth is that this is a dumb change, they really need to make the woman look older, shes supposed to be even older than Kunti was in Kurukshetra).

Also the inclusion of Sanjaya is a mistake, i don't think i mentioned it in the previous post (cause Sanjay's character entered in between those episode's) but he is included in the 26th episode and that is a mistake, because according to the book he's not supposed to come in Mahabharat until a later time period of Dhritrashtra's life span.

At the 18th minute mark of the episode not only is it a misfortune to hear the annoying theme song of Bheem, but also a mistake is done yet again as Vayu Dew said "half of bheems body is made of Vajra" which is clearly not true as even in this TV SERIES we see as a audience how often bheem bleeds, gets wounded etc. The normal arrows of even Karna were able to injure this fat boy (the real bheem wasn't so fat but he also did not have limb's akin to Vajra).

Lastly here Bheem's birth occurred before Duryodhan's did which makes no sense, they were supposed to either be born at the exact same time or Duryodhan was supposed to be older by a few hour's.
=
Episode 27:
On the 1 minute 26th second mark of this episode Bhishma asked Kripa why their are so many bad omens and natural disaster's in Hastinapore. Now although i'm glad they are finally using the character of Kripa i have one problem. Bhishma was the student of many knowledgeable people (not just Indra & Parshurama) so he should not need to seek advice from another person, even a brahmin.

Lastly what Kripa said is unbelievable (that bad omens happen whenever a human with asuric nature is born) cause when the birth of Ghatotkaca happened in this TV series then their were no bad omen's, not in hastinapore, the hidimva forest or any place in what is known as "the Earth" in Mahabharat. So Kripa was used incorrectly and the tv serial falls flat on it's face again, it should learn from Ekta Kapoor instead.

And what about when Krishna's uncle, Ugrasena's son Kamsa was born huh? He was of the same generation as Dhritrashtra & Pandu so Bhishma should've asked about bad omens then, meaning he must have already gotten the answer to his useless question about bad omen's yet for some reason he's a clueless individual here.

The actor that plays Indra for this episode is this one.
{this's a big problem as everyone knows its not the same person who portrayed Shri Indra Dev for most of the series, their was no need to change the actor again}

The writer's of starplus should be slapped for this error.
=
Madri mentioned a "vanara" family, which just made me dislike this TV serial again, as no vanara was shown besides the overrated hanuman. They could have shown Sahadev defeating Dwividha & Mainda (the vanaras more powerful than Hanutati), but no instead they show Droupadi mentioning vanaras to karna when he has a conversation with her in the dice game.
During the 18 minute 40 second mark Pandu mentioned 104 anujas (younger-brother's) of Yudhisthira indicating that Yuyutsu was not born or he does not exist in this television series, even though Yuyutsu's mom (Sugadha) had intercourse with Dhritrashtra before the birth of Duryodhan.
=
Then lastly just in order to make Kunti's character look better/good the writers decided to make her have sympathy for Madri, instead of following the actual book which shows that Madri was the one who asked Pandu to get her taught the mantra instead of Kunti offering it.

And Kunti believed Madri to be a wicked women she feared her that she might surpass her in a number of son's, she felt betrayed by her. You can read it all in this link - https://sacred-texts.com/hin/m01/m01125.htm

But since such truths and incidents will be seen as CONTROVERSIAL they are not shown in TV serial's especially not a saas bahu drama like star plus. The real Kunti was not a very positive character at all despite being a mother to the pandavas, she was a negative character who had her flaw's.
=
Episode 28;
The amount of hair on Sakuni's face/beard was intolerable & disgusting to even look at.
And their was a 15 year time leap, which's dumb and a waste of time, so many key events are literally skipped & not shown.

Then during the four minute mark of that episode Karna despite having his kavach kundala (and i know he's an overrated lallu) is not able to successfully lift a chariots wheel, he struggles way too much to pull it out of the mud (this's before any curse is given to him). And Bhishma still has not gained a single strand of grey or white hair on his beard, so an error (by this time of the serial he's 96 years old at minimum).
Old enough to be a great grandfather (four generations older than Karna) but no grey hair is BS, when in this tv serial Kunti as a mother had one strand of gray hair & Dhritrashtra as a grandfather (25 years after Khandav Dahan) had grey/white hair too. All director's of Star Plus are chutiyas.
=
Other issues in this episode alone are,
[biggest problem]
My comment: You might not have noticed but here Karna took an arrow from what exactly? a QUIVER that's the issue, the massive mistake done! If the writing team of starplus mahabharat could use quivers originally in conflicts, battles or co ntests then why did they have to make arrows appear out of the air itself in episodes after this moment?
Why did all the quiver's disappear after this incident? Why'd they stop using them? It would have saved them from spending more money on special effects, their budget could last abit longer if they choose to stick to quivers.

Other problem;
Karna (teenager) was crying only cause Bhishma said he believes Karna will a great driver for the future generation of kuru prince's. Despite being a karna hater i dont consider this a good scene as first of all it misrepresents what position the suta caste originally was in 2nd of all its a dumb reason to cry, it would be better if they wanted to show karna crying then they should have shown karna's foster brothers death in virata parva, but instead they prefer to add fake $hit. Here Karna was granted an award of 100 gold coin's yet he cries, its such a dumb incident.

In the 11 minute mark Bhishma called Adhiratha the name "sooshen" my problem is i dont get why he's referring to him as Sooshen/Sushen when that's not his name at all.

Entry of young kourava brother's:
The actor who play's Dushashana is my problem, he clearly looks an aryan invader due to the caucasian features on his face.
But he looks nothing like the actor for adult Dushashana.
As u can see his eyes got bigger and facial structure/anatomy has been altered, so its a bad change. Not what Arpit Ranka said in his interview "is mahabharat ko hamney as REALISTIC as possible bananey kee koshish kee hai!" (Arpit said this to a guy who asked him about all distortion's made in star bharat).

This's how people actually age in real life;
{The photos are of SRK a bollywood actor} as you can see this human being's facial structure did not change much.
=
Episode 29:
Now i've finally reached this episode after the long list of errors in the previous one. So for this episode the first problem i have is that Satyavati still gets labelled "RAAJ MATA" that mean's queen mother, but in factual terms Satyavati is the grandmother of Dhritrashtra, the mother to his father (Vyasa). So she should be called raaj DADHI instead of mata.. It would appear like the director's and scriptwriter's of star bharat failed to graduate from 2nd grade Hindi language classes, they probably need to retake 1st grade too.

My next issue is that in this episode Bhishma claimed that a kings order is like gods order, and that he can't oppose it but only make a request to the king a plea to change his decisions. The problem in that scene is due to how in a later episode (after draupadi's swayamvara) when Dhritrashtra tried to coronate Suyodhan (to the throne of Hastinapore) then Bhishma opposed this & said he would fight a war if he sees ADHARMA on Hastinapore's throne.

Next during the 9 minute mark of this episode a old guy whose photo is below;
Called Satyavati his sister, this proves that she is in the same age bracket as him, so for her to not have any white hair yet still get called budhi (meaning old female not intelligence) made no sense. Its a big BLOT on indian logic and to the audience that the writers of Star Plus couldn't make Satyavati ever age!

And another thing here her brother looked shorter than her;
Yet here he look's taller;
I thought height faker's of India were only in Bollywood not television show's.
=
Lastly for the 29th episode, the remainder of problems are.
A - it made no sense for Duryodhan's younger brothers to target the fisher people despite knowing that Satyavati was a relative to them

B - why Satyavati's own brother remained in poverty or bereft of any wealth/riches despite being the brother of what is arguably the most politically powerful woman of Hastinapore.

C - The brother of Satyavati had no clue where king Pandu or his children were, yet he's a direct in law of the kuru royal family!
D - Arjuna is protrade as already being a masterful archer, able to hit water droplets from kilometer's away, despite being a young boy, so it boggle's my mind why this Arjuna ever needed to gain knowledge from Drona, Shiva, Kripa etc for learning archery then.

E - the food joke done by adolescent Bheem was a very poor attempt at comedy relief. They did attempt an action scene with king Dhritrashtra (i presume that was a part of his fitness routine as kshatriya king's needed to be alert) but it was too short not long enough at all.
=
Episode 30;
Now this episode is going to be judged/critiqued as well. Its first minute in itself is extremely annoying as it disrespected the character of Bheem they portrayed him as a fat glutton who is obsessed with ladoos and sweets. Another annoying error/problem occurs in this episode/series, the character of Ganga makes an entry. This polluted river female deity did not have such importance or relevance in the actual books known as "Mahabharat" the directors have given female characters far more importance than they are due.
The only female characters that were really important were "Kunti", "Droupadi" & "Satyabhama" not one other lady had as much importance or spoke in Mahabharat, so Satyavati and Ganga need to both be removed. Their is no quote or line or single sentence in Mahabharat which states Bhishma meeting Ganga the river or deity after she returned him to his father king Santanu either.

Also according to their conversation (between Ganga and Satyavatiin this show itself the time line tell's us that Bhishma was 25 before he met Santanu, which is too long for my taste, that's a long enough time for Bhishma to have already been a father before his meeting with his father and he lacks any facial hair.

Lastly the final problem's in this episode would be Sakuni giving the children of Dhritrashtra their new name (Kourava) along with Pandu educating Arjuna in archery (what's the point of Indra, Drona, Shiva training Arjuna then)? One thing i will say that i liked is that Sahadev was given some form of relevance by giving him the fake invention (being able to see the future that Pandu will die trying to make love with Madri).
=
Episode 31:
Yet another disgusting attempt is made to degrade & demonize the character of Queen Madri by the writing team who claims that she always viewed Kunti as a rival and lost against the whore Kunti time and again, once more they have tried to white wash Kunti and make Madri look bad. At the expense of other character's they try making kunti look good.
Apparently in this TV Serial Madri was able to commit suicide by doing what? By closing her eye's that's how she did it, which is not logical at all, if this were the case then each time someone closed their eyes then their life span would've came to an end.

Another annoying error is to make Satyavati's character give advice to the Pandava's, the writers of star bharat could've introduced Dhoumya the priest who was a lesser known character, they could have made him give them advice instead, or maybe Vyasa but they instead always wanted the saas bahu aspect to remain alive in this show.

Also in this tv series Satyavati never gave any advice to the sons of Dhritrashtra but for some reason she gives the sons of Kunti advice instead.

FINALLY - They gave the ageless Satyavati who look's like she is the younger sister of her grandsons (Vidura, Pandu/Dhritrashtra etc) and even younger than the mother of the pandavas (Kunti, also wife to Satyavati's grand-son). They gave her a fanmade MAHA PRASTHANIKA.
If anyone read Mahabharat they'd know the 17th kanda (fruit of the Mahabharata tree as the book is at times referred to a tree instead of an epic) is title Maha Prasthanika, which details the final journey of the pandavas before they die, so why does this tv serial not show that?

Instead they choose to give it to Satyavati who was not even as important as Nakul in star bharat...
=
Episode 32.
The incident of Bhishma breaking the dice of Sakuni is extremely similar to the dice breaking done by Yudhisthir (later on) & then Sri Krishna himself. I know about these two incidents due to watching the latter half of Star Bharat years earlier, i simply did not see the beginning until recently. The problem is that it's a original scene which is repeatedly copied later on by other character's, as if nothing else could be used, the writers could not come up with anything.
It was fine when only Bhishma did it, then when Yudhisthir did it i thought it was just the cry/howl of a frustrated soul (that didnt have intelligence to stop being involved in a stupid game), when saurabh raj jain (doesn't deserve to play krishna's role) did it then to me it just seemed like they were dragging the story out by remaking a scene.

Bhishma is also later on this series said to be against gambling/the-game-of-dice yet here in episode thirty two he offered Sakuni to play the game with him. And their's one more problem as usual the theme of portraying female characters in a negative or argumentative manner is always prevalent here. The tradition of making a villains wife (in this case Dhritrashtra's wife) oppose him, have different opinions, never agree to his belief's happened.

In a earlier episode when dhritrashtra was denied the throne then Gandhari felt it was a injustice, now Gandhari (in a later episode after her son Duryodhan is fifteen) claim's that whatever Vidur does is right, so her character is definitely not consistent in this tv serial.
=
End;
If anything then this should be awarded title of "most cringeworthy mahabharat serial ever" not best mahabharat. I would take the mahabharats shown by Ekta Kapoor, Sanjay Khan & Ramanandan Sagar any day over this garbage star bharat.

Of course Br Chopra's is the finest, but a 2nd best should be either ekta kapoor's or khan/sagar, not star bharat in any way.
On a side note Arav Chowdhary looks like a young Steve Reeves.

Reasons why Star Plus Mahabharat is Bad (part 2).

I will discuss between episodes 13 until episode 25.

RWSPMIB (an easier way to term this post"Reasons why star plus mahabharata is bad."
=
Episode 13:
Problem's.
- Bhishma meeting Ganga and seeking her out for advice, this fake trope/trend was invented by B.R. Chopra's mahabharat tv serial, then followed-up by Sagar's "Shri Krishna" series after that it's being resumed by star bharat. But in the actual book of Mahabharat their isn't even one chapter or line of text mentioning a meeting between bhishma & ganga after she gave him away to king Shantanu.

2 - When prince Dhritrashtra is practicing or rehearsing for his speech (cause he believes he will be selected as the king/emperor) then he claims that he will ensure that Hastinapore's wealth (or treasury) will compete with the treasury of Kuber himself. But since it was already established in earlier episodes by Sakuni that Hastinapore's wealth is greater than or equal to whatever Kuber has owned this didn't make much logical sense for Dhritrashtra to mention this.
Episode 14:
1 - Contrary to popular belief/tv series Vidura's role in the incident where Dhritrashtra was denied a right to the throne/position of King is actually not present in the epic itself. It was a joint decision made by other people.

[quotE]
"Pandu became king, for Dhritarashtra, owing to the blindness, and Vidura, for his birth by a Sudra woman, did not obtain the kingdom."
[end]
Logical explanation - it's clear that Dhritrashtra getting denied the throne was not done by Vidur, it's just not mentioned who exactly prevented him from ascending to that throne. My opinion is that it was a decision made jointly by multiple influential people & family members.
=
2 - Satyavati looks too young to be considered two generations older than the sons of Ved Vyas. She looks like she is the sister of Dhritrashtra, Pandu & Vidura not like a grandmother to them at all.
3 - Sakuni remaining in Hastinapore during the time where dhritrashtra is denied the crown is a problem, he was not supposed to be their as per the authentic versions of Mahabharat neither were the parents of "Gandhari" supposed to be their.
=
Episode 15:
1 - in the five minute mark when Dhritrashtra said that the kuru dynasty would continue with pandu then he said his past is now bonded with darkness. The reason this line made no sense or the reason it's a problem is because Dhritrashtra's past can not possibly be affected now during the present time, the only things that could be affected in his life are the present or the future not the past as it has already been left behind.

2 - Their was no need to make Sakuni's character a limp/handicapped individual, especially when they show him fighting with a mace/club weapon against Yudhisthir during the Kurukshetra episodes. And as a born kshatriya he would never weaken his own body like this.

Episode 16;
1 - They start to talk about Jarasandha before his time (the time where he should actually be important) arrives before he makes an appearance. And the ones who talk about him are Satyavati (a woman would never get such a influential position in the political monarchy during mahabharat) & Vidura.

2 - A claim is made that Jarasandh is surrounding Hastinapore that hastinapore has no friendly neighbor's (like ally nations) which made no sense. As hastinapore would still have the kashi kingdom & gandhar kingdom as two allies.

3 - If panchal is in the north, vidarbha is in the south, mathura is in the west and magadh is in the east then that should mean Hastinapore is practically surrounded, so their should at least be a line in this episode like "all trade routes leading to Hastinapore have been cut off by Jarasandha & his allies"

4 - This becomes a problem alot as the character's mention Jarasandha even more times (Arjun does during the Kalyavan/Subhadra track & Sakuni does in a episode after karna is given anga desh.) Yet they never show him or do anything much with the Jarasandha character. Despite having a thing called "creative liberty"

5 - During episode 16 their is a mistake because Satyavati claimed Kunti being the daughter of Shurasena {& not Kuntiboja} should never be considered a royal female.
Not only did Satyavati literally ignore her own position (being descended from fisher-people/nishadas basically not of royalty) she also ignored that Kunti was actually a princess, since Shurasena was a royal Kshatriya.

Episode 17.
Not much to say besides the fact that when Kunti sung a lullaby or a song then it seemed like a bolly wood themed song, it shouldnt have been done.

Kunti having a servant who knew about her secret lost child is completely false and shouldn't be shown here at all, so it is a very bad mistake. Regardless the only servants of kunti that had anything to do with Karna are the ones who were spying on him informing Kunti of his location but none ever knew that he was related to her by blood or a son to her.

Also in this episode their was a mistake that Kunti's suitors needed to answer her question related to Ahalya and Gautama in the Swayamvar.
=
EPISODE 18.
Here Pandu insulted Kunti's real father (Surashen) by saying he is unworthy of respect. Its not realistic for a king like pandu to say that.

Kunti admitted in-front of multiple servant girls that karna is her son.

Episode 19:
Dhritrashtra's wife Gandhari chose to disobey him and greet/welcome Kunti/Pandu, so it is another reason why this tv serial is bad in my opinion.
Nobody ever listens to the wishes of dhritrashtra, he did not ask for anything big at all he just asked for his wife to not assist in the greeting of pandu and kunti, theirs nothing wrong with that.

But a typical indian soap opera/tv series always portrays a woman as being disobedient toward her husband, lying to him, plotting behind his back and gossiping about him.

Episode 20:
Hastinapur sends its army to fight off a invasion on a friendly kingdom. Earlier this tv series talked of Jarasandh and claimed hastinapore needs ally kingdoms. But if it already had madra desh as a supporter why need the alliance with kuntibhoj & shura sen?

If it was because they doubted that the kingdom where Vasudeva's sister lived (hastinapore) will be invaded by Jarasandh/Kamsa then they should mention it as a reason. Also their has never been a recorded incident in mahabharat where the kingdom of madraka was defended by a king of hastinapur.

And in this tv series it was mentioned that the reason for this nameless person that invaded madra (their reason for attacking) was cause they thought Pandu wouldn't take any action cause he was recently married, but in this same tv serial they showed that the throne of hastinapur was empty for 25 YEAR'S!

So why care about a new kings marriage when the throne was in itself empty for more than 2 decade's? The invader had all the time in the world to harass friendly nations that were allied with hastinapore, why wait until it actually has a king on the throne?
=
Episode 21:
Mistake A - Vidura wasted alot of time stalling before he mentioned that pandu got married.

Mistake B - the marriage between Madri/Pandu was arranged by Bhishma as per Mahabharat, but in this fake bharat (Star Bharat) serial it's mentioned that madraka's king requested that pandu marry madri his daughter.

Shouldnt elders have been invited in hastinapur to take part in the wedding? But no we do not even see the marriage, the character of Madri gets nerfed and put in the shadow's to highlight Kunti onscreen instead.

In Episode 22 when Rishi Kindama is killed then pandu said his name ("Kindam") before he ever found out, how can he tell a brahmins name without meeting or asking him?
=
In Episode 23 Sakuni still residing in Hastinapore, not even forming a conspiracy, just having conversations with Dhritrashtra.
I dont see how this helps his goal of revenge, particularly when Sakuni of Mahabharat already left hastinapore, was never their before the poisoning of bhima except for the incident where he gave Gandhari away to Dhritrashtra & met Bhishma.
=
In episode 24 when Kunti told Pandu about her gift from the brahmin durvasa then the writer's made Pandu get over excited and thus basically tried to white wash Kunti (making it look like she wanted to inform pandu of karna's existence and demonize the father "Pandu").
Again a mistake is made when it comes to how old a particular character looks, though satyavati and Bhisma continue to have that problem, now another character, this time a brahmin named "Jaimini" has it too. Over here before Yudhisthir's birth jaimini gets introduced with pure white hair, but multiple decades later he looks younger than he did originally.
["Jaimini" in episode 24]
["Jaimini" in episode 178]

So: Not only did the actors face change (re-casting) but he also lost his white hair, it was replaced by gray hair...
And if we calculate the amount of years then 45 years passed (minimum) if we assume that Nakul/Sahadev were both 20 in the rangbhoomi and then 12 years went by for arjuna's exile and another 13 years for the dice game exile after that another year until the war happens.

Since Sahadev and Nakul are supposed to be younger than yudhisthir by at least 4 years. So jaimini cant look younger than he was nearly 50 years ago. Starplus's lame attempt to stay true to its original source failed, they tried introducing a lesser known character (Jaimini) but ended up embarassing themselves yet again.

Episode 25;
Of course a obvious error is the presence of Sakuni, he should be in Gandhar at this moment, but instead the writer's made him remain in Hastinapore. On the 8 minute 50 second mark of the episode when Sakuni said "sau putra" it sounded too much like "soot putra" instead, so the actor basically made a dialogue delivery mistake.

One more mistake that ruined the series is that Yuyutsu's mother is a servant maiden of Gandhari and that's not what i heard in Mahabharat, whether that be Kmg, Sarala Dasa's tale or even in Bori CE. The only identity of Yuyutsu's mom is that she was from the vaisya caste and submissive to Dhritrashtra only, so starplus messed up yet again.
I also fail to see the point of her being in the series when Yuyutsu himself is never shown at all! Though.. i must say that the actress here looks much better than the overrated actresses who played Droupadi, Kunti & Rukmini in this tv serials.
I would take this woman over pooja sharma anyday.
Yet another mistake which makes the series a bad one is that in mahabharat Gandhari hit her stomach on the day Yudhisthira was born but in this TV series she did it on a different date instead, she did it a few minutes after Yuyutsu's mother had intercourse with Dhritrashtra, this would make Suyodhana younger than Yuyutsu, which's not correct at all as per Mahabharata (the book).
