Vali's achievements in Ramayana.

This post is a tribute to the biggest badass of Kishkinda kanda (a chapter in the comic book/fictional story called "Ramayan"). The only mard of the vanar clan his name is VALI.

Fighting a Gandharva named "Golaka".
Quote:
"By which great-souled Vali a ferocious duel was given to the celestial, namely the great armed Golabha, which did not cease either in the daytime or night till Vali felled Golabha, that Vali is no more. [4-22-28b, 29] "Thereafter, in the sixteenth year Vali unquestionably felled Golabha, and on killing that evil-minded Golabha with his zigzag teeth Vali accorded fearlessness to all of us, how such a Vali is felled now?" Thus the monkeys raised hue and cry. [4-22-30]
Points; he fought for 16 yrs something that namards like hanuman, karna, laxman, parshuram could never do, and in these years Vali never got tired.

Arrested several vanara ministers:
"he arrested all my ministers as he spoke rudely." [4-9-22b, 23a]

Vali defeated the vanars who took Sugreev's paksh (side):
"those that are my sympathisers they are also captivated and imprisoned by him.[4-8-33]
Vali's 1st fight with Sugreev:
"I was whining when Vali thrashed me, but then was comforted by him." [4-24-11]

Vali's 2nd fight with Sugreev:
"Earlier he that forceful Vali deposed me from my kingdom, oh Rama, and speaking harsh words he even banished me. [4-8-32]

Vali's 3rd fight with Sugreev:
Meanwhile Sugreeva is unable to spot out his benefactor Raghava as Vali whacked him down, and thereby he immediately fled to Mt. Rishyamuka. [4-12-21] Sugreeva is debilitated and enervated by Vali's thwacking till his limbs soaked in blood, and he entered the great forest of Rishyamuka as Vali chased him. [4-12-22] On seeing Sugreeva's entry into the forest of Rishyamuka, Vali said to him "you are let off for now..." and saying so he returned to Kishkindha from there in view of fear from curse of Sage Matanga. [4-12-23] Raghava also came to that forest, along with his brother Lakshmana and along with Hanuma, where that monkey Sugreeva fled. [4-12-24]
Vali's 4th fight with Sugreev:
Those forest moving vanara-s that are soaked in blood have gone on clashing, threatening each other, like two clouds clashing uproariously. [4-16-30]Raghava has then seen the lord of monkeys Sugreeva who is repeatedly eyeing all sides for help and who is even deteriorating in his enterprise. [4-16-31] On seeing the lord of monkeys Sugreeva in a forlornness, then the refulgent and fearless Rama scanned for an arrow aiming to eliminate Vali. [4-16-32]

Vali's 5th fight with Sugreev:
"Thus he threw me away and even stole my wife, oh, Rama, and owing to his fear alone I roamed all over the earth with its forests and oceans." [4-10-27]

Vali's bodyweight was heavy:
"Thereafter Sugreeva along with Angada and others lifted up and then lodged Vali in the litter of the dead squalling woefully." [4-25-28]
Points; it required at least 2 warriors above Hanuman to lift and carry Vali's corpse

Had enough stamina to fight for a year without getting tired:
Well over a year is over after his entering into that cleavage, and to me too who stayed at the entrance of the cleavage that much time had passed away. [4-9-15]

Vali's speed:
"Before the dawn of sun Vali unweariedly strides from western ocean to eastern, and even from southern to northern for offering water oblations"
Points; he could move from ocean to ocean in a very short span of time compared to namard hanumana. Consider how the mighty Vali is able to do it before morning and after midnight (a few mere hours) but Hanuman could never do anything that quickly.

Vali threw around peaks of mountains as if they were tennis balls:
"Ascending the heights of mountains and even rending their greatest peaks, that mighty one volleys them upwards and in turn catches them, as though they are play balls." [4-11-5]

Vali made many trees fall down with his powerful attacks:
"As a show his strength Vali used to personally fell many sturdy trees of diverse origin by his might." [4-11-6]
Vali vs Dundubhi:
While he is felled down much blood is flown out from the vent-holes of his body, nine of them, ears, nose, eyes etc., and on his falling that mighty one Dundubhi attained the fifth-state." [4-11-46]
Vali could throw opponents to the distance of miles away:
"Then the hastiest Vali swayed that dead and inanimate demon with both of his hands and hurled him a yojana distance in a single flick." [4-11-47]
Vali vs Mayavi:
"He that Maayaavi arrived at the doors of Kishkindha in a night when the people are sleeping, and blared very much inviting Vali for a fight." [4-9-5]
"Vali returned on killing that demoniac enemy." [4-9-21, 22a]

He also killed relatives of shree Mayavi:
"I have seen that terrified enemy of mine effortlessly, and I killed him immediately along with all of his relatives." [4-10-20]
Once upon a time Vali even had the power to make 7 big trees leafeless;
"Also these are the seven enormous sala trees full with their branches, and Vali is capable to make each of them leafless by his vigour, of course, one at a time."

Vali was equal to Indra in bravery & strength:
"Raghava tossed off his fear distantly and eliminated Vali, whose valour equals that of Indra"

These are all achievements outside of uttar kandam, so its clear that Vali is still more of a man than Hanuman, Laxman and Parashuram ever were (though Parashuram would beat him due to astras and even a namard chutiya chirkut like Karna could do the same).
STILL Vali is at least more powerful than all other vanaras inluding Samnadhan, Shri Sugreev, Hanuman, Nila, Angad, Kesari, Gandhamadhana, Dwividha.
But Sugreev was my favorite vanar.

HAIL VALI middle finger to hanuuman, karna, laxman, parshuram and other namard fudhus.

this does not have anything to do with arjuna

I just call out the overrated gandus that dont deserve respect (parshuram, balram, laxman, hanutati, karna, bhishma etc).

Better that u stay in ur limits or first worry about pakistan raping hanuman bhakts.

  2. u are a perfect joker for saying that, like seriously.. did laxman ever fight for 16 years without rest? the answer is NO

and your hanuman is very weak, he was defeated by ravan many times, he was also defeated by ravan's father in law MAY DANAV

this hanuman is a disgrace for all warriors and is worthless than vali's tati

  3. Vali is indeed a better fighter than those 3 overrate characters. please refer to facts and logic

  5. it says "YEARS" not days, your laxman is not even 1 percent of karna and duhsasan from mahabharat
what would laxman do if he meets vali?
    answer:
laxman would pee his pants and cry to his bahdsoorat kutti mata Sumitra

as for your comment about "ravan" i am not his fan so insulting him does not trigger any emotion or effect from me

as a matter of fact i believe Indra was better than Ravan but at the end of the day Ravan clearly defeated laxman and raped him a dozen times in wars

  6. What you need to understand is that him (LAXMAN) being the incarnation of "SESHNAG" has nothing to do with his power, laxmans body is a container for a small portion of Sehsnag's soul, thats what an avatar is.

So no laxman did not hold the weight of the entire cosmos/universe. For his fight with Indrajeet Meghanad it is not impressive that he could do something without his chariot. Even BHEEM in mahabharat fought warriors without a chariot many time's.

And Laxman had help from 33 DEVTAS including the most powerful SHRI INDRADEV:
"Placing Indra the lord of celestials as their head, the sages, manes, gods, Gandharvas the celestial musicians, eagles and serpents protected Lakshmana in the battle-field."

I AM trying to help you understand the truth but judging by your mannerism's it appears to me like you are not interested in knowing the real fact's about Ramayana.

Indra is better than Ravan but most people who are bhakts of hanuman will disagree with that fact because bhakts of hanuman never read Ramayana correctly. In it hanuman was never called a god.

  7. you shouldnt be so oblivious to the facts mr Swetavahana

Your point is "laxman claimed he could have slain all demons with brahmastra" but MY DEBUNK is that brahmastra was an extremely common weapon

Dhrishtadyumn, Yudhisthir both had this brahmastra weapon. They lost many battle's, whenever this weapon is fired its just as simple as thousand's of arrows coming out of 1 arrow that was shot, it is not an omnipotent weapon.

Meghanad had many lethal weapons, he could nullify Brahmastra easily. I am not like the idiots who think ravan was better as a warrior than Meghanad, i know what i am talking about.

    MY QUESTION REMAINS
Do you have any other quotes or links or references to prove Laxman was = to Seshnag?

Because i have yet to see a single achievement from Laxman that puts him on par with the 3 best warriors of Ramayan:

    - Shri Ram (i call him "shri" to differentiate between other peopel who have the same name Ram)
    - Meghanad
    - Indradev (i made a post glorifying him)

Their is nothing that Laxman has done which would put him on par with those guys, i made a post about Laxman in August analyzing everythng about him pre uttara kanda.
I would place Ravan as the 4th best warrior if i exclude Uttar Kand.

  8. If you want to talk about the words of Shri Ram then you should pay attention to many statements made by Shri Ram.

My belief; as powerful and divine as he was the words of Shri Ram are not the final law or ultimate authority.
Shri Ram was Vishnu's avatar but even he make's mistakes. He grew up as a human and was influenced by other human beings.

So despite being more noble, kindhearted & valorous than a majority of the characters in both Ramayan and Mahabharat his word can not be considered the final say as he is also not perfect.

    Here are QUOTES OF RAM.
    ONE;
"It can be possible, if I were to look for her, to find a consort equal to Seetha in this world of mortals"
    http://valmikiramayan.pcriot.com/utf8/yuddha/sarga49/yuddha_49_frame.htm
BASICALLY - he said people exist who can be equal to Seetha from a CONSORT viewpoint

    2:
"He is without a wife and in need of a wife he is youthful, good-looking and he can become a fitly husband of yours, fit enough to your kind of features."
    http://www.valmikiramayan.net/utf8/aranya/sarga18/aranya_18_frame.htm
BASICALLY - he lied to Surpanakha about Laxman remaining unmarried.

SO NO Shri Ram did not always tell the TRUTH. For whatever motive he spoke a few lies. Please realise this that every character in Ramayan whether that be Ram, Ravan, Meghanad, Indra, Vali, Sugreev, Hanuman or Kumbhkarn. Atikay or even Mandodari, Seetha and Vibeeshan.
EACH OF THEM HAD THEIR FAIR SHARE OF incorrect statements coming out of their mouth's.

In sunderkand hanuman himself said that he has the power to Assassinate ravan, but he does not have permission of Shri Ram.Baali was strong but not much more than hanumanji. In uttarkand you can see that this is what ramji thought about bajrangbali shri hanuman

mate u should check this first.
Hanuman was thrashed by foot soldiers:
"That Hanuma, then being beaten with sticks and fists by the cruel demons, was dragged to the vicinity of Ravana. Then, recognizing that Hanuma, tied with barks of trees and ropes."

      Hanuman's other defeat.
      Quote:
"I heard an exceedingly roaring and hallooing sound, mixed with sounds of girdles and anklets in the abode of Ravana."
"Then, I was very much frightened and contracted my physique. I, on my part, remained hidden like a bird in that Simsupa tree dense with foliage."
      http://valmikiramayan.pcriot.com/utf8/sundara/sarga58/sundarasans58.htm
This line happen's right after that: "Then, the mighty Ravana and his wives reached that place where Seetha was staying."
Conclusion; thus hanuman ran away like a coward once he saw brave and mighty Ravan with his wives coming to the place hanutati was at.

    3. In Ramayan their are lines where rams wife seetha said this;
      [QUOTE]
And that chaste lady, devoted to her husband, harshly reproved Lakshmana, saying, 'The object which thou, O fool, cherishest in thy heart, shall never be fulfilled! I would rather kill myself with a weapon or throw myself from the top of a hill or enter into a blazing fire than live with a sorry wretch like thee, forsaking my husband Rama, like a tigress under the protection of a jackal!
Vana Parva: Draupadi-harana Parva: Section CCLXXVI
      [END]
Logic - lord laxman was a chutiya.

Watch that video. Neem Karoli Baba had an energy of Hanuman in him. He showed the siddhi of knowing the past to Ram Das as said in the video.
